Strong hold even after many uses. Better value vs. standard cable ties

I've been using these around the house for all kinds of things including for cable management behind my desk for my monitors and PC. They are also perfect for keeping all the USB cables I have nice and tidy rather than laying around loose all over the place. The Good: -These things are super easy to use -This is actual Velcro brand and they have a very strong hold - much better than the off branded ones. -They're better than the single use cable ties because, well, they can be reused over and over again. The Not-So-Good: -There was a few that broke when removed from the roll (they are all held together in a large roll inside the box) making them unusable. They had to be thrown away. I've only had 3-4 that were bad and couldn't be used. Overall, theses are much better than the off branded ones and provide a nice strong hold. And to top that all off, I think it's a good value for what you're getting.

Smaller than your typical Velcro wrap

When you're used to the typical 6"x1/2" wide straps, these feel rather tiny, but for small cables like USB cables, etc. they're probably a better choice as the bigger straps become unwieldy. I've added a picture showing them against a typical larger (off brand) strap. I haven't counted if the roll really has 50 on it, but the half strap at the end of the roll where they cut it always makes me feel like I'm getting gypped out of a strap! Not sure why they don't break them at the cut-line, but I guess that's just how their machine works. Seems like a waste to me! Otherwise they're fine for the size and do what they're supposed to do.

Great for storing cables

These are perfect for storing cables. I really like the pull through design as it makes it easier to wrap up a cable. Can't go wrong with "velcro" brand right? Pretty good value for the quantity that you get.

Handy, convenient alternative to twist ties for cable management

These are a handy, reusable alternative to twist ties to keep your cables neat and organized when carrying a bunch them around in a pocket, plastic bag or other container. As shipped, the package does not contain 50 individual straps (a generous quantity!), but rather a continuous roll from which you cut individual straps. As shown in the image, for some reason the starting end has an extra 1" of strap which you can cut off and throw away. Then you can cut off the individual straps as needed. Each resulting strap is just under 5" long; after securing the narrow end through the hole plus one full loop around, say, a USB cable, that leaves you up to 2-3/4" of remaining strap to wrap around the fully looped cable bundle, as shown. That's enough for a bundle diameter of up to about 3/4". If you need to wrap a larger bundle, I see no reason why you couldn't create a double-length or longer strap from the roll. However at some point it will not be very secure -- the strap not wide enough and the Velcro not strong enough to stay closed. Think of a rolled-up garden hose as a limiting case that would probably never work :) . I've bought some USB cables that come with a strap similar to these Velcro straps. However, the narrow end secured to to cable tends to get loose and fall off when it's unwrapped, often getting lost. The Velcro brand straps are long enough to put a full loop around the end and still have enough left to securely tie, say, a 6' cable. In the images with 10 loops of a 6' silver USB cable, the cable manufacturer's tie has less than 1/2" of overlap at the end and the closure is losing strength compared to when it was new, while the Velcro has an extra full loop at the starting end and about 3/4" of overlap at the end and the closure feels very strong. This is a nice product to have in your toolkit, and even carry a few around for unexpected needs on the road (in a loop for neat handling).

Simple, effective, and affordable method for organizing those cable "bird nests".

I'm familiar with Velcro brand products and have always been a fan. As usual, this roll of cable tie straps does not disappoint. Here’s what I like and don’t like about these Velcro cable straps: **************************************************** LIKES *One Roll- the cable ties arrive as one big roll of material with all of the cable ties connecte together. They tear easily off by hand when you're ready for one. I really like this design because it keeps them all organized together in the drawer and makes it a lot easier to dispense them instead of having to peel them all off each other every time I want to use one. *Custom Sizes- another thing I love about this design is it lets you tear them off in custom sizes. For bigger bundles I can tear off 2 or 3 ties and use it as one long cable tie. *Easy Tear- the straps tear off easily by hand when you want to remove them but they hold strong enough to act as a single strap when you leave them connected. *Strong Hold- I made a loop and tried to separate it by pulling with my fingers and it took a surprising amount of effort to break the grip of the velcro. It's pretty impressive considering how narrow the strips are, but they're definitely high quality. *Value- 50 high quality straps for less than $11 feels like a good deal to me. This is enough to organize the birds nest of cords and cables underneath my work bench. **************************************************** DISLIKES *None! **************************************************** Overall I'm very happy with these Velcro cable straps and I would definitely recommend them.

Keep those cords wrangled!

We've all got tons of cords. USB, power, other usb, charging, etc. There's a million ways to coil and wrap them up, but they always come loose and get tangled and then you've just got a mess. Well, fear no longer, these perfect velcro cable ties will keep your cords isolated and wrapped up quite nicely. There's 50 of em in this package, so you can wrap up pretty much everything you've got. 100s of uses!
