Makes a large square cube as intended, but...

As advertised, these silicone molds make a large square (ish) cube perfect for cocktails. We're very happy with the results even though there are a couple negatives. First, the cubes are not easy to remove when all 6 cavaties are full. The cubes don't pop out as expected and it takes some manipulating to remove them. It gets easier with each cube removed becaue you can turn the mold inside out when you get to 3 or less. You can make the process easier by running warm water over the back side of the mold to slightly melt the cubes so they slide out. The other negative is the white dusty film left on the interior surface of each mold cavity after you pop out the cubes. We use filtered water for our cubes and there is no explanation for this in the instructions that come with the molds so makes us wonder why it’s there and what it is. We're satisfied with this purchase and would order again unless we find a better solution.

Too tedious

This ice cube tray is too tedious to use. It takes a while to fill because if you run the water too fast, the water splashes back out. So, you end up trickling your faucet and waiting for all the little openings to fill up. Then there’s the transport over to the freezer. Because it silicone it’s very wobbly. then you need to find just the right space to stand it in in the freezer since it is not firm. And it takes a while to get all the little ice cubes out. Not sure it’s worth all the effort. And rather pricey for just an ice cube tray. I am not using it anymore after one or two uses because of all this. The ice cubes are a cute and little, but not worth the effort for what you get for the cubes.

NOT “Large Sphere” as the header indicates

I decided to buy this after reading a rave review on a bartenders website. My fault for not doing more research, but this ice mold does NOT make large ice balls. They are 1.75”. A large sphere would be closer to 3”. If you are looking for a smaller size this would probably work for you. The silicone seems very sturdy. Unfortunately I have to return it.

Tiny ice cubes

The cubes are somewhat difficult to remove once frozen, but I am overall happy with this

Spill resistant

The cubes are very tiny, tinier than I expected which really sucks (which is why I gave it a four out five stars) but it is easy use and fill up if you do it right, and when you tip it over a bit the water doesn't spill and really won't unless you flip it over making it much easier to carry to the freezer.

For $10, it’s okay

If you don’t mind cloudy ice balls, that are smaller than you want, and are not perfectly round due to chunks or “wings” attached to the spheres, this is your cheap entry into ice balls. Does what it says and nothing more. Not exceptionally easy to use, but not difficult once you accept the outcome.
