way too loose
These don't fit tightly inside about half the bottles that I have tried them on, so they start to fall out and leak around the edges when trying to pour through them. On some bottles these work fine, but they practically fall out of the other half. I'm a 27 year wine professional, trust me, avoid this particular design.

Great for no drip wine pouring
I hate having wine drop down the bottle so these are great. I bought some for my in-laws and they are addicted now too!

Great product
These are perfect for use when having red wine. It prevents the wine from dripping down the side of the bottle.

Drip Free Wine...
My girlfriend had a set similar to these, but over time they started to break. The reason was that the style (see photo) required a good amount of force to insert the spout into the wine bottle. Over time the repeated stressing of the plastic caused it to crack. These have a different design, which is much easier to insert into the bottle. The first time I used these I was worried that they would fall out, but they fit well, and do not fall out. When ever I don't use pour spouts on my wine bottle, I now drip wine everywhere. These are nice to have because you really cannot drip wine. If you're drinking red wine this is a bigger deal, as it can stain the surfaces that you are pouring over.

No More Spills
It's very difficult to pour wine from a bottle without getting a drip or two (or three) on a table or tablecloth. These pourers completely eliminate the problem. No drips, no problems. For the price and functionality, it's an essential wine accessory.

No More Wine Stains on your Tablecloth
These wine pourers really work well. It always annoyed me to have to wipe the wine bottle after each pour to prevent the wine from dripping onto the table. Sometimes I used to wrap a piece of paper towel around the neck of the bottle to absorb the stray wine, but that looked tacky and always came loose. Now wine dripping down the label is a thing of the past with this pourer. It's a small thing that makes a big difference. They're kind of pricey for what they are but they really work. I'm glad I purchased them.

A delightful tehcnical upgrade
Nothing is worse than fine wine dripping down the side of a bottle or hitting the table cloth unexpectedly. The original Vacu Vin pourers were great, but these are even better, as they are designed to last longer. The newer design is a big improvement on the original. The old ones tended to crack, since you relied on flexing plastic into the variously sized necks of wine bottles. These don't suffer from that problem and use the rubber washer edge at the bottom to hold the pourer in the bottle and seal it against unexpected leaks. Hopefully, the rubber lasts longer than the plastic had. I would recommend that you only hand-wash these, to avoid any problems that may come with temperature variation between the materials.

Closed-base pourer a winner!
These are plastic pouring spouts that prevent dripping from a wine bottle. They work. However, being plastic, over time they often develop cracks and break, and eventually I have to order more. Even so, they are very useful. I keep ordering. Update 3/2/15: I ordered a set of 6 open-base spouts, but when they were delivered I discovered the new closed-base spouts in the package. So far they have proven to be superior to the open base. They fit in the larger screw-top bottles as well as the narrow opening bottle, which the open-base spouts do not fit well. The closed base spout looks like it will be more sturdy than the open base spout. I believe the closed-base spouts are an improvement. Comment Looking for voting buttons?
