This is very small. I am not a giant.
This is very small. I'm not sure if it will work for my intended needs. I'll likely hold onto it until the other two that I picked arrive and make my choice then, but seriously...it's a tiny switch.

This is nicer than I expected
OVERVIEW I bought this for a DIY spot welder I'm making, to prevent any accidental use of the machine. It is exactly what it says: an SPST toggle switch that requires a key to operate. Yes, I checked that the key really is required--a flathead screwdriver will not turn it. The operation is nicer than what I expected--it turns very smoothly with either of the two keys, and as it passes the threshold between ON and OFF, it has a nice audible click and solid spring action as it snaps into position. It feels so good that I've been using it as a fidget toy while I wait for other parts to arrive. As a switch it functions perfectly--it passes no current while OFF, and has no detectable internal resistance while ON. (This may sound trivial, but I have had to return switches that could not manage the simple task of being either on or off!) It has the standard threaded-barrel-with-backing-nut setup that will make it easy to install solidly into any kind of faceplate up to about 7mm/quarter inch thick. Standard prong terminals with little holes in them like you'd see on any other toggle switch of this size. I'm really looking forward to the "cool factor" (and actual safety benefit) this is going to bring to my welder. I may buy a couple more just to have them around for future projects. CAVEATS As I said, my intended use is safety, not security. I doubt it would be any trouble to pick this lock, or to force it. If you're hoping to prevent that sort of thing, you may want to look elsewhere. I kind of wish I could buy a bunch of them all keyed identical. It would be nice to have a master key for all my lock-secured projects rather than one for each. The only thing I'd change, if I could, would be to prevent the key from being removed while the switch is in the ON position. But that was already asked and answered on the product page, so it doesn't detract from the score. SCORE: easy five stars.

Good, but much smaller than you think
The media could not be loaded. The locks seem great, but they are MUCH smaller than you may assume. They are TINY. And the keys are very small and flimsy, to the point that they can bend pretty easily. And the keys aren't really individualized keys.

Toy not something I would trust to keep my things safe
The media could not be loaded. It’s kinda like the horse tied up to a chair, I wouldn’t even call it a theft deterrent. if a thief is smart enough which most of them are. They’ll be able to turn the switch on with a screw driver or shaved down key. I ordered 2 of these and one of them didn’t work and the other one was able to be switched on with the non working ones key which leads me to believe every single one sold on here is keyed alike. I shaved down one of the keys as u can c in the video and I was able to turn the switch to the on position

Smaller than you think
This switch works great and is simple to wire up. It's just a lot smaller than your average lock core and key set. I probably could have read the description a little closer, so here's your reminder to do so.

Great for a Kill switch!
I used this product to wire up a killswitch to my Predator 212cc Drift Trike in series with the factory K.S. on the engine. The only reason I don't give it the full 5 stars is because I wasn't sure which prong was used for the lead going through and out. The only indicator was one prong had a "D" or some similar symbol, but I do not think that matters since either way it would work.
