Great goggle... But I still prefer the Original.
If you have swam competitively then you should know about Swedish goggles (Sweeds). These are a decent attempt to reinvent that wheel but fall a little short. Where they truly differ is eye gasket/seal. The original sweeds have no rubber or silicone seal, its just plastic seated snuggly. And they work perfectly. The TYR Socket Rockets make an attempt at adding a seal with a fairly thin rubber gasket around the eye socket.... It sucks. The added material is just enough to press into the sides of the nose and becomes uncomfortable, worse it pushes the sockets out wide and I get leakage. Its not bad, and if I don't strain my face at all I can keep it from leaking. Then there is one last thing about the gasket. It really irritates my skin when using sun screen. If you where these for a while with sun screen, the rubber and sunscreen causes terrible irritation. Sweeds never did that to me. TYR probably considered the gasket an improvement on the OG sweeds but its really the only downgrade. Here are the pros about these goggles. 1.Good price. (OG Sweeds are cheaper) 2.Excellent peripheral vison. Like really excellent!!! 3.Excellent sun blocking for outdoor swimming. Best I have have ever had and the reason I bought and still use them. (If they made these without the gasket, this finish would be the best selling goggle of all time) 4.Super cool looking. Sometimes obnoxious looking things are super rad.

Recieved product with 2"x3" adhesive stain on the clear window of the package and a ripped top section. Removing the goggles showed a fingerprint on the lens and the protective stickers were peeled up. The rubber nose bridge was broken on one side. Replaced with enclosed string and tube. Definitely appeared used or mishandled. All other aspects appear fine. UPDATE - Compared to Malmsten's these are better in the following. Better vision, easier adjistment to seal out leaks, no fog actually works. Would buy again, but not from this seller.

Great goggles!
My favorite goggles, they got comfortably and keep water out. They look cool and are very compact. I wish they came clear but it's ok.

Buena calidad. No entra agua! Eso merece 10 pts. Pero son bastante incómodos, pareciera que te va a succionar los ojos. Igual los recomiendo, encontrar goggles que no entre agua es tener suerte! La visión es muy buena

Well made, but the Mirror Tint has no light restriction, Not for outdoor swimming
Typical mirrored sweds have a very dark tint for outdoor swimming. These have a very light tint and the mirror does nothing against the sun. I'd compare the tint to the blue tint of the original Mailstrom (sp?) brand. The tint is almost clear in color/opacity. These would be ok for open water swims in the afternoon if you're not doing backstroke, but not outdoor practice. Other than that, this is my second pair of the TYR brand sweds, I do find these very comfortable and well made other than the fact that the mirror is for cosmetic purposes only.

Goggles themselves are the standard rockets but the rubber strap is dryrotted and broke the first time I tried to adjust the nose piece. I then tried to use the longer of the two pieces as a nose, but that also broke first time stretching. The head strap is the same. I would have returned, but I am not in the USA anymore so cannot mail and will have to replace with my own straps.

Goggles for Competent Swimmers
I've been swimming competitively since I was (5) years old. When the Swedish-style goggles first came out, I was an early adapter and have been using this style ever since - anything else feels like I'm swimming with a windshield on my face. But having said that, these goggles are not for the average casual/recreational swimmer. Most casual swimmers feel like the goggles are too tight on their face - at least that's the most common critique I hear when I've lent my goggles out to someone to try for a lap or two. But someone used to the hard plastic Swedish goggles will consider these a rather comfortable upgrade. What works well for me is taking the extra time to fit the goggles with the included string and tubing. Additionally, I pair the goggles with a bungee-cord head-strap. This strap allows for quick adjustments and has much greater durability than the included rubber-straps; after all, there's nothing worse than showing up for a swim and having your head-strap snap just as you're preparing to push off the wall! I keep a backup pair of goggles and straps in a plastic ziplock and keep it close in my mesh swim bag so if I do happen to have a goggle malfunction - it doesn't ruin a workout. Before you buy, just understand what you're getting. These are designed for competition; as such, these are low-profile, tight, and comfortable - just the way I like them!

They will dry out in about a year. But I still buy them.
These are great and are very comfortable and adjustable. The plastic bands and the soft plastic on the eye cup will dry out over time. Be ready to buy another pair. Maybe store it in a plastic zip locker. We called and they did send us a replacement band. I have ordered several of these in different colors.

bad initial experience.
upon receipt of this product and trying to adjust the nose bridge strap before the first use, the rubber snapped(!). after a couple min of frustration, I cut some of the excess head strap and replaced it for the nose bridge. It is a good goggle, highly adjustable and has a snug fit... so as long as you have enough strap, you'll be set...

Nice eyewear
Love these. Take a bit of getting used to and they feel much more comfortable in the water so don't be put off when you first take them out the box. These tinted mirror ones are a bit dark in indoor pools, but they do look good. All in all, very happy for the price.

Perfect Goggles for small face
I did quite a lot of researches and read some reviews on few different good brand goggles. So I made my final call and purchased this pair couple days ago. They arrived today and I have already tried them on in our swimming pool. They fit perfectly on my small face and small nose. I tried to look up, look side way and move my head around under the water, no leak at all. They are really well made, functional and fashionable. Love them a lot!
