Great sight on my cheap compound bow

This is a nice sight. I love I can micro adjust and it just works. Granted once it’s set you are done which is very nice. Well worth the money. It helped my wife immensely. She just beat my butt., ???? She has a junior bow and at 22lbs. And works well. She is happy! I’m sad she beat me. ???????? just get it.

Arrow weight

As a established archer with 42 years of hunting and 3d’s under my belt the product works well with 350g to 450g arrows with minimal set issues. Anything more, it is a swag giving away to a 2-3 inch movement in placement shot. Would not recommend it if you are using a higher grain arrows. Tested a 703g arrow and the adjustment wasn’t there. Placed it on my daughter’s bow with a 350g arrow at 35lb pull and also fell short. My son pulls 50-60 pounds with 450g arrow and this sight is money. Bottom line it is designed for the average shooter at 50-70lbs with 400-500g arrow. Takes under an hour to set the sights up. Has a awesome push button feature for pin lighting with a simple push button.

AWESOME PRODUCT

GREAT PRODUCT, ESY TO INSTALL AND SIGHT IN, TOOK MAYBE 15 MIN TO SIGHT UP, LIGHT DID NOT WORK ON WHEN I GOT IT EVEN AFTER PUTTING NEW BATTERIES IN IT, BUT CONTACTED TROPHY RIDGE AND THEY SENT ME A NEW LIGHT RIGHT AWAY!

Won’t be disappointed

Shot for the first time tonight first at 20. Once I was dialed in at 20 I moved to 40 just to see if the react feature actually is accurate. After a few arrows it was surprisingly very accurate so I decided to go to 50 yards to sight in my other 4 pins for more accuracy & within 10 arrows I had groups of within 1.5” at 50 yards. Pleased to say the least and can’t wait to dial it in more in the coming weeks. Worth the money. Only thing that concerns me which thankfully wasn’t an issue is that my housing is almost all the way maxed up, thankfully my 20 pin was good at where it was and didn’t need to move up more. I’m curious as to what would happen had I needed to go up any further cause that 20 pin is fixed and has to move with the housing.

Good sight, bad support

Was able to install and set up sight. But the instruction book was missing from packaging. And was told there should be a sight sticker to increase range past the 5th pin that wasn't in packaging. Also disappointed in the led light as the batteries were dead when I received it and you have to buy whole new light instead of being able to just replace the batteries. Already spent almost $200 now I have to spend another $20+ for a light is ridiculous.

Great Sight, Cheap Rheostat Light

Installation was a breeze. I have not sighted it in yet, but based on other reviews I assume that this will be a breeze as well. This sight has quite a few features that standout from other sights such as mostly metal construction, React Technology, and the Rheostat Light. Everything about the sight is good, but the Rheostat Light appears to be cheap. Whenever I got the sight the light would kinda work and would flicker. Eventually after playing with it for a few minutes out of the box it did not work anymore. Well I was bummed, so since I am an engineer by profession I took it apart to see what what going on. A push button on switch is not used, just a dial that you turn. This was the design choice to allow variable brightness levels of the LED. The LED is a simple UV color (AKA black light) 3.2 - 3.4 volt LED. The UV will make the fiber optic cables glow. The Rheostat Light is powered by 3 small coin cell batteries. The cheapness in the design has to do with the LED. The LED is not soldered or glued down inside the case. Instead the LED legs or leads are bent in such a way that the positive lead touches the in series coin cell batteries and the negative lead is bent so that it comes in contact with the case. As you turn the top of the case it also turns the LED so that the negative lead scrapes against the inside of the case. As it turns different resistance is achieved. The resistance is what controls the brightness of the UV LED. I fixed my Rheostat Light as opposed to sending the unit back. I have several UV LEDs on hand and used one to repair the Rheostat Light by bending the UV LED into a better position so that it made constant contact with the inside of the case as I rotated the top of the case. Everything is peachy now. Now, in terms of longevity, this outstanding design choice means that the light will eventually stop working. Batteries are one thing, but the LED scraping the inside of the case will eventually wear the case out depending how much you use it and stop making good contact with the case. You will see flickering when this occurs or it will flat out stop working. This is my first Trophy Ridge product. However, given that this is a MSRP $249 bow sight, I expected better.

Amazing Product

No more searching for that weird off-size Allen wrench that doesn’t come in a normal set. The fine tuning knobs make sighting in my bow effortless. It’s a solid well engineered sight. Worth every penny for the upgrade. Really impressed with the Trophy Ridge products I’ve been adding to my hunting bow.

I got the item since I heard good things about it

I got the item since I heard good things about it. I was disappointed to find that it did not come with any sort of instructions. It was really inconvenient to try to figure things out for myself. The online manual wasn't helpful at all. To make matters worse one indicators on the left and right axis had spots that were worn out. Trophy ridge needs to up their quality control. It did have solid construction which is why I didn't give it 1 star. I may try another trophy ridge product but I'm really hesitant after this experience.
