I’ve had several of these, sometimes they simply do not work! I love the infinite brightness or adjustability but if you’re not super careful about changing the batteries it easily becomes another purchase, the way they are designed inside is extraordinarily simplistic, they aren’t cheap ones either! I’ve had three or four and they’ve always failed unfortunately, typically they work really good out of the package but as soon as you start changing batteries things go bad, the batteries they use are just slightly longer so unless you have the same exact batteries as comes with this light It’s problematic if the batteries are shorter, I love the infinite adjustment but for the money and quality it is not worth it, when they work great they were great! Sometimes they don’t work at all. I ordered mine and it was from a third-party vendor- my mistake. Only order from what Amazon has in stock like I usually do. Amazingly Amazon after 10 years plus of being a prime member has never let me down, as this product did not show up on time and I had already bought another I had the option to cancel the order but that option had expired, Amazon simply said to keep it. Amazingly this was one of the faulty ones they would’ve been returned anyhow. During the time I waited for this to show up I ordered a rechargeable waterproof three brightness adjustment light I was skeptical about, not skeptical anymore! I believe it’s the only one of us kind on Amazon , small white rechargeable waterproof, and same or less price than this product but it just works! This product works amazing when it works properly I give it bad ratings because of the inconsistency, the last thing you need if you’re shooting at night, just from my own personal experience with replacing batteries in this same exact device as I have had five or six, I know all the troubles that go with them. Like I said it’s a very simplistic design inside so the battery size matters greatly, you can adjust the brass positive prong inside but it’s a pain to do so, I would try as I suggested above, extremely compact, waterproof, rechargeable Dash the only difference is it’s not infinite adjustment. I thought that would be an issue but it’s got three adjustments for lighting strength, the first one is extraordinarily dim as I would use at night so it ends up being perfect. This product when it works rate is wonderful! Amazon customer service is amazing and helping me deal with some faulty equipment. I only tell the truth from my own experience and I’m not advertising or advocating for one or the other, just my experience

Variable brightness adjustment vs 3 settings on others

I like it compared to others I’ve used. The rheostat adjustment allows you to turn the brightness down very low which is the only useful setting for me. Other lights I’ve used are still too bright on the lowest setting. This one you can very carefully turn all the way back right before the off setting and get it to barely turn on, keeping your pins only just slightly illuminated so that you can still see your target behind them. Other models I’ve used are too bright and light bleeds out effectively obscuring your target in low light. There is tactile but silent click when adjusting to the off setting, and also a visible reference line. It’s lightweight which is nice, not sure on durability, time will tell. It fits perfectly in my Spot Hogg Grinder sight without using any of the included adapters. It’s a useful sight light for bow hunting, not many really are.

Great value

This product worked very well in my tru glow site bright and easy install. Don't like that there is no click when turning on and off.

Works perfect. Other reviews mention light can "brush" on easily. I find this not to be true if the light is turned completely off into the secure off position when the white line on the dial and the light body are aligned. In this position there is noticeable tension on the dial and it takes a deliberate twist to turn it on. Another complaint where the light is off but burns out the batteries has merit. The light will turn off before it is in the secure (lines aligned) position. When this happens, the light is probably using battery power but not enough to light up. Being diligent in feeling the dial coming to the secure off position and double checking the off position line alignment will solve this problem. It would be nice to have an audible click when the dial hits the secure off position, but not necessary because as I mentioned earlier the tension of the dial can be felt and a visual check of alignment lines will ensure the light is in the secure off position.

Turn it either direction to start from dim to bright or bright to dim! Offers the most versital adjustments of 4 that I have owned.

Good sight light for Spot-Hogg Sight..but buy new batteries with purchase

I like other customers bought this to replace my old Spot-Hogg sight pin light and it fit perfectly without having to use any of the included adapters. The adjustment level increases the brightness as needed. The violet light does a great job of lighting up my pins. Will agree with others, get batteries when purchasing as the ones that came with light were weak. Otherwise a great purchase and great product.

Not for stupid millennials

What a terrific and simple light. Rheostat, so it can go from us just enough in a blind at dusk. To plenty of light when it bright out but it still can be dark and gloomy inside of my blind. It did not fit my HHA. Light adapter. I had to drill it out and tap it to one of the adapters that came with the light.

Amazing range of brightness!!

The media could not be loaded. This light is amazing. Multiple adapters for all kinds of bow sights. Easy to adjust and batteries are easy to find. Extremely easy installation. If you like just a minimal amount of light or an extreme amount of light this is the Light for you!
