Nice aviary
So far it’s great for our parakeets. It looks beautiful in our home with some shade plants and was easy to put together. It’s only been a day so i can’t attest to the longevity.

Excellent for small & medium birds. If you have a chewer - spray interior wood with bitter apple spray before introducing birds.
Fabulous cage for my 4 parakeets! They love it! I read previous reviews of a few purchasers' parakeets chewing the wood. I bought bitter apple spray for birds from my local pet shop and sprayed it on all of the wood parts I did not want them to munch on. My thought process being, if they are deterred from nibbling from the start, they shouldn't be interested in chewing that wood later either. They do have quite a few toys they can chew on all day long as well as 2 cuttlebones at their disposal. Everything arrived safe except 1 small dowel piece for the multi-level perch that suspends from an eyelet in the roof. That was the only broken piece and was actually fixable with a little glue and pushing it into the post so that the broken part was half-way into the post, making one side of that perch a little longer than the other. It doesn't affect the balance at all. I placed the 2 long perches that come with it as close to the top as possible and secured them with small zip ties to keep the perch from sliding back and forth in the section of cage they occupy. This allows my birds to hang out and hide (just a little) under the roof parts. They have a play yard that fits nicely on the bottom and a small water fountain on the ledge (found on clearance at Lowe's) in addition to multiple tree branch type perches that are strategically placed to allow as much flight room for them as possible. The instructions do come in German but there is English below each step. There is also a picture on the back of the box how to assemble as well as on the paper instructions. The hardware is in cardboard slots that identify each screw, part as "A", "B", "C", etc. It really isn't difficult to figure out. When I put mine together, I found it easiest to start assembling the upper tier on top of the assembled bottom tier so that it all lined up nicely. You can either separate them once you finish assembling the upper tier or just use a step ladder for the parts you can't reach - easy either way. It assembles very logically. The feet have adjusters in the bottom of each so you can make the cage level on your floor. I have mine on carpet and the carpet tack strip near the wall made the back stick up a little higher than the front. Using the foot adjustments in the front made it level out nicely. It's a beautiful addition to my living room and my little ones are very happy in it! I'd buy again!

My Finches and I love this cage
My finches love this cage. I do not now if we are allowed to say the name of competitor stores but the store with the name that starts with PET and ends with CO, they have this same exact cage for FIVE HUNDRED-Something. I think I paid 200-something for this, and Prime Delivery was perfect. You have to put this together, but it is pretty much just a few peices that are already ready to go when you open the box. It took me about 20-30 minutes, a friend to help hold things in place and a 6 pack, and now I have a beautiful cage that is still like brand new and it has been around a year or so since I bought this. Everyone that comes loves the cage. I did not realize how big this was, and I am about 6 foot tall and its right there with me in height with the rood on. i have seen pictures with this outside, but I am too scared to bring it out. Inside though it has lasted and looks great with all the toys I have inside. Almost Forgot: I do not know if anyone else has experienced this with their cage but as soon as I put my two birds in this one they started breeding. Is this normal for finches to do? because I had my male and female for many months in a small cage and they never breeded, now I can't get them to stop. Luckily there is a bird store that buys the babies from me for very cheap, but I get some bird seed out of it, and some millet spray from time to time. Long story short, this is a good cage. :)

Nice Aviary, poor shipping, minor damage
Pro: I like the spacing for our society finch pair. They use all of it, from the top to the bottom. Like how you can access different parts of the inside without disturbing birds or allowing them to escape. This cage matches my other aviary for parakeets so nice compliment in bird room. Nice hardware. Nice design. Instructions easy to follow. All part included, some extra pieces(screws). Happy with purchase, so are the birds! Con: shipping took over a week to arrive. The box and packaging was really destroyed. Ladder was busted, corner of top busted, I had to clue some pieces together to assure they wouldn't fall apart. Flimsy cardboard. Styrofoam used to protect cage was shredded and turned into a million bits...quite the mess to unpack and vacuum. Still finding the white stuff around the room weeks later. Shelf too big for cage, cuts it almost in half Modifications: Put a light inside at top. Might add another under the shelf. I cut the shelf in half, length-wise after reading other reviews that it just collected bird droppings. It did juts too far into the cage so cut in half and kept one hole for water dish. I put fresh greens on this shelf. Food on the bottom so keeps everything cleaner. Also put plexiglass all around the bottom to seal in spent seed hulls. No mess whatsoever now. Warmer too. Glued ladder together and purchased more perches and brought in tree branches to provide more diverse foot holds so birds don't get feet problems. Added fake greenery which makes cage feel more natural for birds and looks great with wood. Bird nest boxes hidden inside greenery

Pre-drill holes or you'll have a bad time
The instructions to put this thing together leave much to be desired, example images are very pixelated. Also this wood is very hard, so you need to predrill holes for some of the screws or you'll split the wood. The ladder and one of the roof pieces were damaged in shipping, but I was able to fix them relatively easily. The perches it comes with are kinda crappy, I had to modify them so they don't spin around. My green cheeked conure is able to pick up food she dropped through the floor grate, so I recommend a non-toxic material to put in the tray. Overall pretty happy with it, the big door is really nice.

Bird aviary 78x180x78cm
I think the aviary is very well built and attractive to look at, but it is not very functional. When changing the seed and water the birds could easily escape. It was advertised as a budgie aviary but it is more suited to larger birds and there is no protection against bad weather I have put 4mm perspex around the aviary to protect my birds. The feeding platform and ladder was useless I removed it and the perches were not of sufficient diameter. Also the wood is so soft the budgies are gradually eroding the aviary, In all not very satisfactory.
