No More Piles of Clothing On Travel Days
We purchased these hangers for our RV to help address the issue of residential hangers falling off the rod on travel days resulting in a pile on f clothing on the closet. These hangers are snug on the rod and do not fall off. They can be easily removed when needed. Great solution to a frustrating situation.

Great RV hanger
We were looking for a hanger that wouldn't fall off the rod in the RV while driving down the road. This hanger sort-of clips to the rod. It does slide back and forth, just not as easily as a metal hanger. This may cause aggravation to some, but that is a small nuisance compared to finding your clothing in a heap on the floor when you open the wardrobe. This is the perfect width for our RV wardrobe which is not as deep as a conventional hanger. This hanger is also shaped to hang clothing closer to the rod, thereby gaining space for longer garments. It does take up a little more space on the rod than a metal hanger but we think it's worth it.

Perfect for my Travel Trailer closet. When i arrive at my destination the clothes i hung up before leaving are still hanging nicely. Not sure i'd use them at home but for RV'ing perfect.

Hangers stay clipped -- and bring the RV closet rod down when we hit a bump!
I was tired of repeatedly finding shirts and hangers in a heap at the bottom of the closet after driving over railroad tracks or bumps in the road. After reading about this product last month I eagerly bought two packages for our next RV trip. The hangers are as advertised: heavy duty and they definitely stay put. Our closet rod looks thicker than the one in the photo on the box, and I found the hangers gripped so tightly that I couldn't move them from side to side along the rod at all. However, I slightly "unbent" them by hand which gave them just enough give that I can move them a little bit. They are still snug, and must be unclipped from the rod, not just lifted off like a regular hanger. (My husband absolutely dislikes them, so I mainly use them for my clothes.) I was willing to put up with the inconvenience involved with these hangers in exchange for shirts that stay hanging up throughout a trip. Unfortunately, when we got to our destination, I found the shirts in a heap on the closet floor, still on the hangers attached to the closet rod lying on top of everything. We've used our RV for dozens of trips and while this was the first time the closet rod came down, the same thing happened the following weekend. Picking up the wooden rod and fitting it back in place with the weight of the shirts and hangers attached is worse than rehanging the shirts individually (a person who lacks the strength to lift the rod with all the hangers and shirts attached would first have to unclip the hangers and/or take the clothing off the hangers to lighten the load). The brackets that hold the rod in place in our RV are a wide U-shape, open at the top, which may be what allows the rod to fall. If you are considering these hangers for an RV, take a look first at how the closet rod is held in place and whether your rod could fall as ours does. It's 10 days until our next camping weekend and we are considering whether we want to do something with the rod or eliminate these hangers (more likely). Update 4/29/14 - by the end of the 2013 camping season, I completely stopped using the clip on hangers -- the problems described above were too much of a pain, and will not be using them in 2014. Now they are just heavy-duty hangers at home, where they work easily with our Closet Maid type wire closet system.

STURDY HANGERS THAT 'LOCK' INTO POSITION
I already had a package of these and bought this extra bunch when some of my other plastic slacks hangers bent and broke under the weight of winter-thick pants. So far, these are superior. After a closet makeover, we have flatter rods that fit these slot-shaped hanger hooks. They stay in place but easy to remove when needed.

These hangers are the bomb. Which I have found them and purchased them sooner.
After searching high and low, trying multiple hangers, including home made DIY options, we finally found a solution to keeping our hangers on the rod while in transit. Lynx Stay-Put hanger for the win. These are awesome, we put on many miles and they didn’t unmount from the rod. No more picking up and rehanging our clothes/jackets each time we travel from one location to the next. Love this product. Only downfall is that I didn’t find them sooner.
