Scared many people with these

My friends and I like to put up a tent on the beach, make a bunch of sand skulls and bones, and then hide and watch the people go mad! I’ve made a few ladies scream (sorry!), but mostly people take photos, they add or decorate to them, and point them out to their friends. Kids obviously love them and get extremely excited to find a skull and crossbones along the beach. It’s so much fun using the molds on the beach and enjoying the reactions of people. It’s legit never-ending fun! Pro-tip: use damp/wet, but not dripping, sand for these to be most effective. Would probably be pretty awesome to use in snow, too!

Not really life sized unless you are looking for a child size. Overall not bad, heavy enough to last a while, good detail, just too small for what I was expecting

Quality buy for the price...

I wrote the first review 1.5 years ago and as i am very happy with the set, wanted to update it with pictures. sadly I was not able to add pictures to my old post. So I took off my old review and posted it as a new one with the added updates and pictures. I hope this review will help someone... Actual post as created on June, 2013: Using this set for the second season and couldn't be happier. My son is a fan of air planes and trains so he loves it when we make a sand engine or airplane. The bag is perfect size for him to carry all by himself (he has just turned 2) and having his own something to carry around makes him real happy. It has a decent size bucket and sprinkler. all the parts are well made and vibrant in color. I guess this set would be as useful next year as it is now...after that I'll definitely have to buy a bigger set with more castle making options. Best as the first beach set. Update 01/28/15 I had to come back and write some more positive things about this set. My son is 3.5 years old now and still loves to play with it. In fact he doesn't miss an opportunity or excuse to put the set into good use. So what it's dead of winter and we are not going to the beach anymore, he is making snow planes and trains now a days. It's really cute to see him shoveling some snow up and filling the little bucket. He loves to carry bucket full of snow from one place to another. Needless to say the recent snowstorms have given him a plenty of chance to play using this set over and over...I never imagined this set would be so useful for his snow play too...added bonus :) Including couple of pictures for the convenience of future customers. These pictures are taken today and one can easily see the set looks as good as new even after 3 years of good use (my son is really good with his toys. I don't know what's going to happen if the set undergoes a lot of abuse and hitting). the toys are very easy to clean too. Only regret, now the set is couple of dollars cheaper...one can hardly get a better price for such a quality toy. My recommendation would be, go for it.

Kid’s loved it!

Bought this as an ice-breaker for my son to bring to AZ when he meet his cousins for the first time. Everyone loved it and it endured some serious play from 6 kids (and an adult or two). Ended up buying 2 more, so that each family has one of their own.

Doll sized items

Item delivered after return window closed. Pieces are too small. Wheelbarrow is 1/4 the size of others I’ve purchased and seen. I Ordered it for 1.5-2 yr old child - I can’t imagine a child tiny enough to push that wheelbarrow (maybe a doll??). The little shovel is a good size and safe for a small child. It’s going in the donation bin since I wanted the wheelbarrow and that’s useless.
