Good lead, bad knot.

Nice size for my mini, but the knot on the clip is horrible and cumbersome. Makes it awkward to get your thumb on the latch to open it. I would have returned it, but I needed it right away. Other than that, I like the texture and length. I have included pics of the knot. I may end up unlooping it and use a quick link to attach to clip.

Wouldn't buy for a dog but a great buy for a horse

Its a great lead rope it is just that a lead rope. I have horses and dogs and honestly- I won't use it on my dog. I wanted stronger one due to my girl being a pit mix so I knew what I was buying but after I got it I realized- no handle so you have a knot which isn't the greatest, the material is slick so it seems to slip through my hands more and I'm not a fan of wrapping it around my wrist a few times. The clasp is made more for a horse and I find its a bit more complicated to get on my dog when she's excited. So I'll be buying something new. Its also came with part of the lead torn off so I have a few frays sticking out. Again- GREAT for a horse.

Absolutely perfect lead for my miniature

Perfect length, smooth and soft to the touch, ties easily and stays tied as needed. Love the trigger bull snap. Can't say enough good about it.

Not great

I wanted a short lead line for when I'm bringing in my two big geldings from the paddock to their stalls. This is really subpar. See attached photo comparing a good lead line that I bought elsewhere with this one. The better one is the purple one. Notice how the end clips are attached. The clip on this lead line is not well attached to the line - it is just threaded through the bottom of the clip and this gets in the way. Secondly, the way this clip opens is very inconvenient. You have to rock the bottom back with your thumb to open it instead of just pushing down on a metal piece like you can with my purple one. I ordered two - but am just going to use them to lend to friends who need one because eventually, lead lines get mixed up and it'll probably get lost. And I won't care.

Great for small hands

This lead rope is great for my 4 year old daughter to use when she is practicing leading her shetland pony. The rope isn't as thick as some, so she is able to manage it. This is definitely a lead rope for a miniature horse or a small pony, I don't think it would be nearly strong enough for a horse.

Cheap clasp. Doesn’t lock.

Do not buy this. Clasp is loose and if horse pulls the wrong way It unclips. Waste of money.
