Quick and easy hoof picking

The handle is easy to grip and has a good texture so it doesn't slip out of your hands. The point is aggressive enough to really do a good job cleaning deeper frogs out. I like it better than my Oster one now.

Not all purple

Very solid, doesn't bend backward. However it is black with purple accents, not all purple as pictured

Best pick!

Easy on the hand with its ergonomic design, this tool is a must have! Your grip won’t grow weary after the first hoof. The handle allows a solid stable grip while the sturdy pick gets into deep grooves with ease. The brush conveniently removes loose debris to finish the job!

Seems a bit large

We tried these for our Nigerian Dwarf goats (40 pound average). They get stuff stuck in their hooves so we clean them before trimming them every 6 weeks. I like how this has a brush on it but the handle is awkward. I thought the pick would be too large for the hooves but it actually works well. Back the handle it just seems too bulky, maybe. I would recommend this pick since I haven't really tried any other picks.

Comfortable to hold, fits well into my hand

I really LIKED this hoof pick, fits well both in my hand and cleaning out the frog of my horses foot. I am disappointed that after just a short time the loop to hang the hoof pick broke. I got the pick the end of October and by December it was broke. I actually used it very little, kept it with my trimming tools but like I said, in less than two months the loop broke. Other than that- GREAT HOOF PICK

Better than average pick

I bought this hoof pick specifically because it has more of an angle and wider surface area than other standards picks. The bristles also seem longer and are easier to flick debris out with. My new favorite hoof pick!

Satisfied

A little studier than I thought it would be so I am quite delighted. I wanted this color as the other items used for the horse I ride are purple-a good way to distinguish whose tools are whose.

The hoof pick is great but the colours are actually inverted so where the black it’s actually gonna be purple and with the purple it is actually black
