Super bright but beware

This flashlight is very compact, small enough to fit in a woman’s handbag, even smaller bags, also fits easily in a pocket if needed. It is super bright, especially for its size. The two main drawbacks are it doesn’t use a standard size battery, so you will probably not have one on hand unless you have a wide variety of batteries and will have to purchase specifically for this flashlight after the one that’s included at purchase dies. The second issue is potentially more serious and that is the metal area around the bulb gets very hot, with minimal use. For that reason I do not keep it on for long periods and am careful about the type of surface I might rest it on for hands free use.

Bright for its size and can use rechargable batteries, but nothing about this thing is PRO

This isn't the brightest light you can buy in this size, but it is surprsingly bright for something in the low end budget price range. There's no zoom, and a fairly poor beam pattern with an uneven and blotchy bright spot accompanied by a large dim halo. It's also not great that the pocket clip is a firly flimsy snap on type that makes it really easy to drop the flashlight when trying to put it in your pocket. I've got other lights with snap on clips, but they're all much firmer than this one. It's getting four stars because it's capable of using rechargable 3.7v RCR123A batteries, which really improves the value. A cheap, nearly disposable cost along with the brightness and ability to use rechargables is nice. If it only worked with the 3V CR123A non-rechargables, I'd be giving 2 stars because it's just not a good design overall.

Buy some extra batteries

I purchased this flashlight when it was on sale. It has good brightness and is lightweight. The construction seems to be pretty good and it doesn't take up much space. The place where I had to ding this flashlight is the battery consumption. It's fine if you use a flashlight very infrequently and want something that you can fit in a small place. The flashlight defaults to its highest setting and in that mode the battery life is a lot less than the quoted 35 hours. My guess is closer to 3 hours if you're lucky. The fact that it doesn't default back to the last setting you used when you turned it on means you won't be able save battery life without having to click the power button a few times. While it is a very bright flashlight for its size, I can't recommend it due the battery consumption. I had a few the expensive, non-standard batteries that this flashlight uses around the house, so I'll be able to use it for a bit longer, but it will be retired when I run out. I can't justify spending $2-$3 per battery for a flashlight. Because it uses lithium batteries the shelf life should be really good, so it could make a good low profile emergency flashlight.

Good Light, Eats Batteries

I bought this light for dog walking in the winter months. Basically the only time it was on was while I was picking up dog stuff. Even using the low light, the battery didn't seem to last more than a couple of weeks. And it uses a CR123 battery, not a more common AAA or AA. Luckily, my home alarm sensors use those same batteries so I had a box of them. After burning though three of them in a month I decided to retire the light, and bought an el cheapo elsewhere for a buck that does what I need. Bottom line - this is a good, solid flashlight that fits easily into the palm of your hand. The drawback is that you'll have to dip into your kids' college saving plan to keep the thing in batteries.

Very bright, but it burns through batteries. Good hand warmer.

I was using this flashlight while I was changing some pipes and fittings and the included battery was dead within just an hour of use. That wouldn't be such a large issue if the batteries needed for this thing didn't cost roughly $10 each, or $6 each if you buy them in packs of four. I bought one just to see if the included battery may have just been old and the new one died even faster than the first. If I were to guess, I'd say Energizer wants to incentivize people to buy the overpriced, disposable batteries this thing uses. While the light is very bright, the LED seems to be of low quality and puts off an incredible amount heat that noticeably warms the flashlight in about a minute. The rechargeable versions of this light may be better with respect to the cost of continued use, but the quality of the LED leads me think that the rest of the materials used are also of poor quality. Just buy a flashlight that accepts rechargeable AA or AAA batteries instead.

Publicidad Engañosa

En la descripción habla de que tiene carga USB con opción a doble A (es mentira, solo trae una pila rara) la pila duró muy poco tiempo y no le di tanto uso. Una desgracia que marcas como energizer hagan productos de tan baja calidad.

Las baterías no duran

Tiene buena intensidad pero las baterías son difíciles de encontrar por lo tanto preferiría comprar una de esas lámparas chinas recargables, no la recomiendo si no quieres estar gastando en baterías

Me sorprendió

Linterna ultracompacta pero que se siente de muy buena calidad. Ilumina muy bien y la puedes llevar sin temas en el bolsillo de tus jeans.

Small but bright

Product received in good condition but was surprised to find the size smaller than anticipated. Although small in size, nevertheless, the light was very bright.
