This is a Maternity Swim Top

Overall, I think this is a great, quality-for-the-price swim top. I feel well supported in the bust. And it's a nice swim tank. Nice and thick material. HOWEVER.... ...while the listing in no way mentions pregnancy or maternity (at the time I got it, at least) make no mistake, this is a maternity swim top. It has the bunching on the side seams, a hallmark of maternity swim suits. I really wish the description mentioned this. Yes, I see now that all the images are of apparently pregnant women. But you don't see that necessarily from the 1st picture. It pretty much is listed as a basic tankini top from the Amazon Essentials line. I really like all the Amazon Essentials stuff that I have, but I really think this isn't properly listed.

Cute color, snug suit!

TLDR: Very cute blue color, runs a little small. I go to the Y to workout and use their indoor pool, so I typically go through 2-3 bathing suits a year as the chlorine eats them. I got this suit bc it looked like it may hold up a little better, and am mostly happy that I did. Most importantly, this would have been a five star suit if the sizes were a little more accurate. I typically order an 2XL tops, and this was no different. I got my top and it fits so snug! It hasn’t moved on me during my lap swims and water aerobics, but it certainly hasn’t been kind showing off all my curves so tightly lol. Still giving this a 4 star as the material is holding up better than my last few suits, and the color is gorgeous!

Cute top! Nice fabric! I expected it to run small, so I ordered a size up.

This swimsuit is super cute. I love the fact that it extends below my hips (as shown in the picture). I typically wear a medium shirt size. If it is a ladies cut, most of the time I size up to a large, especially when it comes to a swimsuit. The suit fit a tad bit large and was a little long because I'm not super long in the torso..in fact I'm shorter in the torso than the average person. But, I think it is something I can live with. I like to do water aerobics. The top of my two piece swimsuit tends to ride up. That's not going to be a problem with this top. It fits pretty snug around the torso and hips. So much so, that it shows my love handles around my waist. Oh well, all the better reason to get into shape. The fabric is super soft. The stitching seems durable.

Nice material but snug

I like the feel of the material and the adjustable straps. It is long in the torso but doesn't provide any tummy control. It is lower cut in the chest than I prefer and doesn't offer much support. If you're looking for a walk on the beach tankini this might be perfect for you. If you're an active mom that wants to stay in & be comfortable, I'd suggest to keep looking.

Too small

Amazon Essentials Women's Tankini Swim Top is on the small side. I normally wear small-medium and ordered a medium, and it's still too tight around the chest. Also, the thin foam padding for the bras is not sewn in - they are lose and move around a lot so be sure they are set in place. The fabric quality is decent but the color is a little off. I was expecting a royal blue color as shown in the picture in the description, but it's more of a light navy color. I don't think I'll order these swim tops again.

Smaller than expected

Product arrived safe, intact, and well packaged. Product seems to be well constructed, however it is not true to size and much smaller than expected. I would recommend to anyone wishing to order this product to order two sizes larger than you usually would. Overall appears to be a good product, just not true to size.

Tight and very low-cut

It's okay. It's hard to go wrong with a black swim top, but I just wasn't very impressed, especially at the current price of $31.30. I ordered XL, as I usually do with swimwear, and it's pretty tight. It's also very low cut. Not the most comfortable or flattering tankini top I've ever worn.
