I never thought I’d rate a tim product lower than a 5. Don’t get me wrong I love this cutter. But 6” is an awful cutoff spot. So much so that I purchased the 12” from tonic. For small projects it’s great, but anything over 6 I need to pull the huge one out. Which is almost always. After using it I feel like 8” is what I need most, so I made a ruler, laminated it and attached it to the side (to my deckle edge too!). Now I can measure as far as I need to, but why wasn’t an arm added to this little guy? They added one for the bigger/thin version of this (I got the big guy, 12x12, but there’s another slim version that has an arm that can be attached), but not this one. Other than that, it cuts great! I do love it, maybe I’ll need to make smaller products. Lol

It’s good quality. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in left hand but as a lefty I’m used to that and have learned to adapt.

MUST-HAVE small trimmer
This replaced my older, smaller, Creative Memories photo trimmer and I'm IN LOVE! The wider base allows me to trim my 6" photos with ease.

Not the Perfect Trimmer but not Bad Either
I paper craft a lot and haven't found (or heard of) the one perfect trimmer. This one isn't the exception. That being said, it still has a lot going for it, and I am happy with my purchase. I will be using it in conjunction with my swing arm blade style trimmer that can cut papers up to 12"x12" size. I do recommend that if you only buy one trimmer for card and scrapbooking paper crafting, that you get one that can handle at least that size paper regardless of the trimmer style. The honest truth is that this works so well though, that I will probably use it more than the swing arm style now. But I still want both to create the "perfect" trimmer choice. Pros: Clean, crisp, sharp cuts Fairly Compact and Portable - great if no flat space can be dedicated only to trimmer placement Seems durable Safe construction (especially for a guillotine style) with large finger guard No blade replacement costs Nice measurement grid markings (on platform and at top and bottom) Good price point for the quality Cons: When first used, the blade was very tight and tugged the paper out of place and created crooked cuts. Still requires sturdy hold to avoid the crooked cuts. Guillotine style can cut fingers if operator is major klutz (I am and have) - reminder to make use of guard Not suitable for 12' x 12" paper cutting Can't make window cuts in paper

Love this trimmer
I had one of these for years and gave it to my dad, so bought this as a replacement. I have a few trimmers but this is my favourite. Takes up little space, cuts perfectly every time and never needs sharpened. When I eventually clear some space in my craft room I'll purchase the a4 size.

Very Sharp
I love it, it's so sharp! I wish there's a medium size. The next size up is 12×12 which is a bit too wide. This baby is a bit too small for me. Size 8×12 in length would be perfect. But still I'm happy with purchase.

Good for paper crafting
It's a sweet little guillotine paper trimmer. It's small, compact and light so very portable. The blade cuts clean, although it is necessary to hold your paper in place because the blade does tend to push your paper away from the ruled top ledge. I used it to cut a stack of cardstock to mat size pieces and the process was easy and they all seem to be the same size. The cutting surface has a debossed grid and the ruled edge uses both imperial and metric systems.

solid, works well
This trimmer does what it says it will do. A nice size for my desk. Especially good when I don't want to get out my large trimmer.
