A fun piece!

I like that each section is so small and an embroidery of it's own. Even if I only have a few minutes while waiting at the dentist I can accomplish something with this that I can see in that moment. Although each piece is part of the bigger picture, it is in itself a picture.

Each Square Inspires

I was inspired by each square to embroider a tiny work of art. It takes weeks to do it this way. But it came out like a beautiful patchwork.

Clear precise printing of image.

Clear, sharp print image and I had so much fun relaxing and randomly adding the colors to each block. I just finished this yesterday and have not implemented it into a useful item yet. I may frame it or make into a pillow.

A nice pattern and allows maximum creativity

This is a very nice embroidery pattern. I love that each box is different and you can complete the template however you see fit. This kit comes with a needle but no thread or specific directions--It is really meant for you to do your own thing and I expected that. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 stars because the design print is in permanent black ink that can be seen under light colored thread. I wish the design washed away like other embroidery I have done. Other than that (it may take me a year) I plan to finish this and hang it on my wall.

I can’t seem to get into it.

I am not really experienced with embroidery but thought I could go crazy and make my own art. I haven’t been able to get into this. It doesn’t look that good. It’s probably me.

This is a large piece to work with, you must use an embroidery hoop for best results. There are a few examples of stiches included but a quick internet search can help you find more. This could easily be cut into several different pieces. Many of the patterns are repeated.

Great idea for zentangle fans.

I loved all the different small patterns and look forward to adding some simple embroidery to them . The fabric is quite stiff, so not sure how easy it will be to sew into. I would have liked some ideas on how to colour the background, but I’m sure I can find some methods on the internet.
