Awesome product, consider sizing up.
My pup loves her thundershirt. Not only does it help with her age related anxiety but she has a bad back and shes too small to fit any of the braces on the market so it helps keep her spine comfortably compressed. I bought 2 classic and 2 sport. I have to give this one 4 stars because I like how soft the classic one is but my little one has skin problems so I need to wash them often to keep them free of allergens. 1 wash and it was way too small. I have a 4 lb chihuahua and had bought the xxs going on her weight but I'm ordering new ones in an xs to account for washing it today. I didn't have the same problem with the sport and as an added bonus it has a reflective strip so u can see ur pup at night when u let them out. Highly recommend this product just go up a size if u need to wash it.

Watch the size!
Bought this for my granddog. As she’s getting older thunder storms and fireworks are starting to really bother her. She’ll shake and shiver during storms and fireworks. You have to turn up the TV up loud and hold her in a blanket like a burrito until the noise abates. Bought her this shirt to help. However it’s not true to size. I bought the XXS as her weight is 5lbs. The shirt was so small you could barely get the tummy flaps together and if you forced it she cried. I’m returning it and have bought the XS. Will give an update once it arrives!

Size Recommendation Too Small
I have a 5.5 pound Pomeranian and ordered the XXS, per the sizing chart. It is far too small to wrap completely around his torso per the instructions. Although the box says to return to place of purchase within 45 days, it turns out that Amazon only allows returns within 30 days. So it was a wasted purchase.

XXS fit my 3lb chihuahua perfectly
This is the 3rd Thundershirt I purchase for my pups. The oldest shirt is probably 5 years old and still looks great. Closure is still strong. We have 2 maltipoos and one chihuahua and I really notice a change in behavior. I recommend the sprays that go with these. smells nice and chills them out.

Be sure to measure before buying.
If I were to get another, I would measure better. I went by how much my furbaby weighed rather than the inches around her neck and body. I know it is supposed to fit snug but it is almost too snug. The next time I am at a store that carries them, I will try one on her to see if we need to maybe go up a size. She only weighs 7 pounds so according to the guidelines, this should be the right one for her. As for it calming her, we haven't really put it to the test yet, a thunderstorm and/or fire works. I am still crossing my fingers that it works when we have one of the other of those things occur.

Xxs to small for my 5lb Chihuahua
This looks like a good fabric and great vest. I'm waiting to see if Carlito wines. So far he has be silent. However the vest is to small to close properly.???? He might be 5lbs and the xxs is to small. It took all my effort to close it that much.

but the X Small is perfect. Ordered one for the daughter's dog too
I really think it helps keep my dog calm. I did order an XX Small and had to return for a X Small. even though my dog is less that 7lbs the chest measurement was too tight, but the X Small is perfect. Ordered one for the daughter's dog too. Very satisfied.
