Perfect for our RideAlong Lite!

I was really weary about buying this adapter because on the Thule website, it is so hard to find information on what seat/adapter fits what. So when my Thule RideAlong lite was too low, I ordered this and it fit like a charm. I didn't realize at first you need to remove the black plastic piece for the Lite version, but after a minute, of it not fitting right, I realized it. I wish Thule would do a better job in regards to their instructions and information, but other than that, it worked perfectly. Seller shipped it quickly, as it estimated to be delivered between 3/31-4/2 and it arrived 3/26! Can't wait to take my daughter out later on!

it works! no hitting the rear wheel!

I purchased this to upgrade me standard Thule bike seat. as my children grew, when riding over bumps or turns, the seat would hit or rub the rear wheel. This fixed that problem. my 2 year old 28lbs is great, and my 5 year old 40-45lbs also can ride again! it is pricey, and should be an option when buying the seat set.

Extra piece which should be elegible at the first time.

Is a good extra, but is really annoying that the users have to buy an extra piece for something that should be elegible at the time you buy the whole Thule package. I use it with my Trek M7. What do I do with the standard arm?

Perfect for low saddle tricycle

While we could fit both theThule RideAlong 100101 Child Bike Seat, Light Gray on our bike. With the shorter adapter, it was quite a tight fit against our saddle seat so we upgraded to the newerThule RideAlong Child Bike Seat , which comes with a longer adapter but that still wasn't right. I'm not sure why this low saddle adapter has such terrible reviews. It works really well with our tricycle. The child seat sits up a little bit higher than before but the angle of the low saddle adapter makes it easier to install and gives my son more space for his legs. Because the child seat is a little higher, we have the use of the basket between the back wheels.

Works great, should come stock with the seat!

This thing works great, I was having trouble finding a kids seat that would fit my bike (Diamondback Overdrive 29er) because of the low seat tube. The Thule ridealing mini seemed like it fit all my needs except for the stock bar it came with. With this low saddle adapter you can see that now I have enough clearance to ride with my daughter in tow. I have added some pictures of the back of the mechanism as well because no one has posted it and hopefully it will help you decide if it will fit your bike.

Gives extra clearance where needed.

Purchased this to add height to my Thule Ridealong and it works great. The mounting of the cables for my Gary Fisher Marlin made attaching the frame lock too low, such that the seat rubbed on my back tire every time I hit a bump. This adapter gave me an extra 3 inches to work with and I took the kid out without any issues. Although I think this part should have been included with the original seat package, it is a great solution for anyone needing extra height for their Ridealong seat.

Low means higher

I was forced to purchase the low saddle adapter to make the RideAlong work on my Electra Vince (pictured, same frame as current models Relic, Indy and Tiger Shark). The low saddle adapter actually puts the seat higher up in the air but also bends to accommodate a low seat and gave me just enough clearance on my bike (thanks to another reviewer for the picture of this and the original bar side by side).

Good quality product that does what it should.

This product does exactly as advertised. My wife’s bike had an issue with the original Thule mount because it tested on the back tire. This mount provides an extra two to three inches of clearance over the rear tire. Very solid product that does exactly as it is described. I would like to see Thule offer the bike seat with the option to get either this mount or the original instead of making you purchase this afterwards.

Perfect for a 29er wheel bike!!!

After being very excited buying a new bike I was keen to attach my Thule ride along child seat, unfortunately the seat rested on the wheel due to the large wheels and shape of the frame. I did a lot of research and struggled to find a solution and there’s no other suitable child seats out there, also I didn’t want to part with my Thule ride along. I saw someone else had tried this attachment to fix a similar issue and it works a dream!!! My bike is a trek marlin 6 2022 model whereby the frame is much more unisex so doesn’t give a lot of option to attach the bike seat to the frame. This attachment has resolved it and happiness has restored in my house. I’m very surprised this isn’t being advertised by Thule that it’s also suitable for 29er wheel bikes, rather than just low saddle issues. Mi think they’d sell many more, thanks to Amazon for this review service it enables me to find the product I needed.

Fixed the problem nicely!

I purchased this to fit the Thule ride along lite to my bike . Owing the shape of the frame not a low seat though. The bracket that came with it sat too low and rubbed on the wheel. This has completely solved the problem and has the added bonus the seat is way more adjustable now. Fantastic product highly recommend.

Funktioniert, trotzdem Geldmacherei

Nachdem der Thule-Sitz mit dem mitgelieferten Bügel an mein neues Rad (eine Gazelle Classic) nicht anzubringen war, ohne, dass der Sitz auf dem Gepäckträger beim Fahren aufsetzte, habe ich mir den Bügel bestellt. (Mein Sattel ist quasi auf der niedrigsten Position eingestellt.) Das Gute, jetzt setzt der Sitz nicht mehr auf. Leider kann ich den Sitz auch mit dem Ersatz-Bügel nicht abnehmen ohne den Sattel vorher zu demontieren. Schade. Den zweiten Stern ziehe ich vor allem deswegen ab, weil Thule den Sitz auch einfach direkt mit dem geschwungenen Bügel ausliefern könnte - oder zumindest einem die Wahl lassen könnte. Jetzt habe ich nochmal 30 Euro ausgegeben, für einen neuen Bügel für einen ohnehin nicht günstigen Sitz und habe noch jetzt ein Stück ziemlich teuren Müll rumliegen. Der alte Bügel bringt auch auf einem anderen Rahmen, meiner Meinung nach, keinen Vorteil gegenüber diesem Ersatzteil. Von daher nutzt dieser nun keinem Menschen mehr.

adattatore selle basse per seggiolino bici Thule

l'adattatore Thule, acquistabile a parte è quello in basso nella foto in cui vi ho messo vicini sia quello in dotazione al seggiolino e questo ideato per le selle basse. L'adattatore ha una sagomatura tale che consente la regolazione fino a fine corsa dell'altezza della sella, consentendo a chi non è alto, di utilizzare la bici con l'altezza a cui è abituato. L'adattatore, si infila senza fatica nel seggiolino e anche nel supporto fissato al telaio della bici, unica nota negativa, secondo me è che potrebbero includerlo nella dotazione al seggiolino , ma questo è un discorso economico, che non influisce sulla qualità dei materiali e del seggiolino Thule che è considerato da molti quale migliore seggiolino posteriore per bici. Ottimo e consigliato ! Amazon veloce nella consegna!

Aumenta la distancia entre la silla y la llanta en unas 2 pulgadas

La marca Thule creo que tiene muy pocos competidores en cuestión de diseño y calidad, solamente que tiene una información muy deficiente sobre sus productos, me ha pasado en otros y me paso en este, no dan mas detalle como es que resulta este adaptador y que ventajas te da sobre el que viene por default, realmente nunca supe si iba a funcionar o no, (COMPRE A CIEGAS ESPERANDO FUNCIONARA) En mi caso tengo una bicicleta de 29" y con el adaptador original pegaba el asiento en la llanta, con este adaptador me dio una altura extra aproximada de 2.5 pulgadas entre en asiento y la llanta suficiente para subir a mi hija de 3 años.
