WORTH IT!!!
If you are a fan of the movie then you will love this. Super accurate and so much fun. My family has already put hours into this game, fun for everyone.

Fun game
This game is more about player interaction than it is about the actual gameplay on the board. The game is very simple once you learn it. Very easy for the Thing(s) to win if you don’t have more that four players. Lots of fun and is pretty true to the 1982 movie.

Fan of the movie? Get this game!
First impression - amazing detail from the box to the board to the well made figures! I wish we could use the board as a picture on the wall, it's pretty cool looking. Game pieces are well made and very detailed -- we plan to custom paint ours so they show the real life detail of the characters. Don't be intimidated by the very extensive instructions. There's a couple videos on YouTube that we found that explain it well enough to get us started. Once the game gets going, you'll get the hang of it real quick. The booklet is always a good quick reference. Play with as many people as you can! Throw John Carpenters Thing on TV as background soundtrack as you play this... you'll feel like you're there at the Outpost with a flame thrower trying to manage your paranoia... ????????????????

Avalon meets Pandemic meets Clue
I only got this game because I'm a huge fan of the movie. I played it with 7 other people who had not seen the movie, and they all loved it. It is such a fun game, and better with more people. I play it every chance I get. It really is better with at least 6 people.

Ready to read 16 pages?
So my dad asked for this game for his birthday. We were all excited to sit at the table and play it, though when we started opening the box and saw the instruction manual the excitement went away. For one, it’s 16 pages long. My brother volunteered to read it while we set up and then go step by step. It took us an hour to get through one turn. I’m more of a gamer than my dad. I usually play longer games like Betrayal or mysterium with my friends on the weekends, but he’s just a horror movie buff that had this recommended to him. He was confused the whole time and the instructions weren’t very clear. It doesn’t tell you how many dice to roll during a turn and skips over that step when it gives examples, which confused everyone. The other thing that didn’t seem to make sense was how the captain title is passed on. If you go into a room and pass the mission, the captain gets the item in the room. The book said that players could switch captains by tying them up…. But how do you tie up the captain if they have the rope? I happened to roll highest and was the captain during the game and it honestly felt like I was the one that was able to actually play the whole time while everyone else just handed a card over occasionally. My step mom even gave up and went to go watch tiktoks… overall, I wouldn’t buy this game if you’re a more casual player or aren’t prepared to sit there and read an entire book to play a game.

Review is for delivery. Game delivered heavily damaged.
The game itself is very fun. Picked it up after someone brought it to a game night. My issue is with delivery. The box is heavily damaged. Thankfully, the pieces are okay but I’m going to have to find a different box. The way it was shipped was poor. Oversized box with no filler to cushion or soften things. It’s clear it took some blows in transit.

Excelente juego!!!
Primero que nada el manual viene completamente en inglés así que mientras hables el idioma no habrá ningún problema. Totalmente recomendado horas de diversión con una dinámica bastante interesante que considera combina lo mejor de mis juegos favoritos de mesa. Eso si las instrucciones pueden sentirse algo agobiantes al inicio pero una vez empezado el juego es mucho más fácil de lo que inicialmente aparenta.

Excelente juego de mesa para jugar con amigos
Me encanto el juego de mesa con mis amigos me recordo a la pelicula de los 80' y mas si pones la musica se siente la ambientacion. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
