Frustrating to take apart

The marble run is built with connecting blocks but it is a hassle to take apart. Once it was fully assessed it was very flimsy to stand up and the gears to turn do not work well.

What an engaging stem toy. We had fun building it and lots of giggles and joy playing with it.

It's a subpar copycat of better made ones

It's strange that you are suppose to assembly the toy considering once you do, the original box is only 10% smaller than the toy; it could have benefitted from just being a single assembled toy. Putting it together was more annoying than joyful and will require an adult. The instructions aren't as detailed as you'd expect despite being 22 pages. In a few steps, it was easier to go to the next page and look at the assembled pieces and just copy them. The good news is the pieces are colored so it's easy to tell them apart except in my kid, two different type of pieces were both orange but the direction made one of them red. Despite being components you put together, there is only one way to build the toy so there's no reason to ever change or disassemble. The base is too small and light and when you crank the toy it will wobble so you have to hold it down. It would be extremely easy to just screw the base into a block of wood and I recommend this so it has the weight it needs to be played with. Strangely, if you look close at the box, there has been some kind of slight design change as there are these U clamps for the long blue rail and the yellow one and both have you just float the C clamp on the rail instead of in it's designed spot. Also the blue rail fits better if you turn it around instead of mount it as the directions/box show. I would not recommend this toy, also my hands are raw after putting it together. You will make a couple minor mistakes and have to pull apart and put pieces back together but fortunately they're sturdy enough not to break.

Fun for big kids (parents) too!

My husband had so much fun building this marble run with my boys! It took about an hour to put together but it provided hours of father and sons bonding time!

Wobbly

My son was so happy when he saw it. But it was a huge disappointment after it was put together. Not sturdy the hand crank started getting all lose and wobbly. For the price... I don't think its was worth it...sorry.

Cheaply made falls apart. Not a quality product. Wish I could get my money back

Fun to build - disappointing when done

Works terrible once assembled - the gears engage poorly - mostly just slipping. Was fun to build with my 7 yr old daughter - major disappointment for her when done.
