Nice unit

I like the unit. Unfortunately the transmitter and unit would not stay in synch for more than 1 hour. Good news is I received a fast courteous refund.

Second one works great

The first one i received powered up but would not sync with the transmitter the replacement connected in seconds as for the accuracy I have not noticed any major difference between it and the old school mercury thermometer still mounted on my deck. I haven’t had it long enough yet to know anything about battery life so so far everything is good as expected.

Smallest screws in the WORLD!

You have to remove screws to add batteries........smallest phillips head ever! had to go buy a tiny screwdriver but it barely worked..........then it stopped working after the first day!

This weather machine worked for about a month and now of course the window to return it has closed.

The numbers were large enough to see from a distance, how ever it only worked a little over a month and the return window has closed. Don't waste your money. I'll get one from Lowes and if it doesn't work they will take a return.

Unreliable, useless thermometer.

Purchased to replace a low cost item that failed after three years. This higher priced product is useless. Took two days to link up to sending unit. Display occurs at random times and random temperatures. As a result, product is useless. Certainly not worth the price, or any price.

Convenient!

I got tired of the kids asking how cold it is outside and the drama that ensues when they have to actually go outside and see or want to look at a parent's phone to see digital information. Nope! This handy little set allows a sensor to be put up outside that sends information to the little digital display inside. Now it has had a few glitches where they disconnected (in its defense, it was blowing snow sideways and very cold) but for the most part it works consistently and I recommend.

doesnt work

been 2 days ,put in new batteries ,checked batteries with volt meter. works close to each other . tried moving it around inside and out . display looses outside temperature even at 20 ft away,had thrown away the packaging , time to toss it in the trash
