Properly sized, but the indicators for F and J are not great.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because the J key on my last keyboard has worn down such that the indicator nub is not easily recognized by a gentle touch, so I end up having to look down at the keyboard to find my correct finger placement (or press a key then adjust based on what key was pressed, then delete the character). That kind of defeats the purpose of having the indicator there in the first place, and slows me down (because then I need to find where I was looking on the screen again). This keyboard is a bit heftier than my last (the one it's replacing), and has a few extra features (notably the media control buttons). It's also a few dollars more expensive, which is expected since shipping is baked into the price on Amazon. The key touches aren't terribly loud (though they seem to be on the video for whatever reason), and they've got appropriate resistance to being pressed. I don't suspect I'll accidentally hit any key and have it register a keypress just by my finger glancing over it. The main issue I have with this is the indicator nubs on the F and J keys aren't very pronounced. You can see from the pictures I took that they're just barely there. If that's what you're looking for: Fantastic. It's not what I was hoping for, and so it gets a star removed for me. Other thoughts: I like the placement of the Fn key in relation to the location of the Ctrl key (especially on the bottom left corner). With other keyboards I've used the manufacturer puts the Fn key on the outside, so when I go to copy and paste I get annoyed instead. I just always expect to have the furthest key on the bottom left as the Ctrl key.

Volume button & numberpad at this price is great deal. Has the rare Function key lock!
Works and installs fine on windows 10. Can't believe I found such a low-priced keyboard with the Function Lock feature. Props to Amazon for giving you that rarity. I got this keyboard, though, just because of the location of the Volume buttons, which do work well. I wish they had put the Mute button in the center, though, with the Decrease on the left and the Increase on the right. That helps when you're frequently adjusting the volume. But that's even more difficult to find on a keyboard than a Function Key lock :) The sides of the keyboard are rough. Of course you won't be grabbing the sides of the keyboard a lot. But I often move my keyboard around on my table. When I grab it by the sides, the uneven and rough grooves in the sides are uncomfortable. There is nothing ergonomic about this keyboard.

Perfect for my use
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Low-Profile Wired USB Keyboard and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The keyboard's matte black finish and low profile design gives it a sleek and professional look, making it a great addition to any workspace. The keys are soft and responsive, making typing a breeze. The keyboard has a standard US layout (QWERTY) that is easy to use and navigate, making it suitable for both personal and professional use. The low-profile design makes it more comfortable to type for extended periods, which is perfect for those who spend a lot of time on their computers. One of the best features of this keyboard is its simplicity. It's a no-frills keyboard that doesn't require any additional software to function. The plug-and-play design makes it easy to use right out of the box. The cord is long enough to allow for some flexibility in placement and the USB connection ensures a reliable and steady connection. Overall, the Amazon Basics Low-Profile Wired USB Keyboard is a great choice for anyone who is looking for an affordable and reliable keyboard that gets the job done.

Good choice as a replacement. My review will help you decide.
After lots of online shopping and researching, I bought this basic but good keyboard as a replacement to my Dell original keyboard. Every keyboard takes getting used to and this one doesn't take long at all. It's worth the $11ish. You'll be happy if you're not picky. I type a good amount and find this to be good enough (it serves me well), esp at the price point. Some say the keys are mushy and I didn't know what that meant until I used it. That said, it's not bad. You get used to the overall feel and it won't slow you down. If you're a fast typist, then you'll be fast on this too. It's fairly quiet, not clacky like my original Dell keyboard. It's a bit smaller L x W than my previous keyboard which is good as I was trying to save space, but it's basically a standard-sized full keyboard. USB cord is pretty long at about 5 1/2 ft and has no problem reaching from my desk to the CPU on the floor outside my desk several feet away (there are some turns and it reaches with slack to spare). It's actually longer than my original Dell keyboard cord. I would recommend it. I don't love it, but good is good enough and I'm content with it. I'd buy it again knowing what I know. If you don't like it, return it or store it for backup as you can't lose for the price. Or, give it away as a Christmas White Elephant gift!

Inexpensive great keyboard
Works well for what it is. It may not have all the cool features like the expensive ones but it’s also only a few bucks. Can’t complain and it works well for my use.

It's basic but it seems really nice
For $15 this is an amazing keyboard. No thrills but its a good size, has a numpad, and pretty satisfying keys. Overall its a great value and a good keyboard.

Basic and sturdy, inexpensive
Basic and sturdy keyboard! I use it for remote work at home just plug it in to my laptop so I have a larger keyboard to work with. I love this keyboard.

Works great!
I am used to mac computers with a very low profile keyboard but had to get a pc for certain 3D design apps. I hated the bulky keyboard it came with especially because I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts and commands. I was skeptical if this keyboard because it was so cheap but so far, it’s great and works better than my computer’s default keyboard. Very comfortable for my small hands.

I like it ... Nice Keyboard
This keyboard is very nice for a medium to fast typist. It will feel a bit strange at first but once you get used to the key action --which took only a few seconds-- you will likely find you can really get going on this keyboard with relatively few mistakes. The key action is very positive, no false keys or missed keys. It does take a bit of energy to get each key started down, which I think is a good thing, but it doesn't feel laborious or stiff to work with. Once the keytop is moving it collapses right to the bottom very easily. The feel is reminiscent of the early "clickeyboards" from IBM... thankfully without the click noises. In fact this is a very quiet keyboard. The keyboard is standard sized, not 3/4 like most "chicklet" boards which makes it a very easy adjustment from other keyboards. It only took me about 3 or 4 minutes to feel completely at home with this one. The keytops are a bit smaller than other flat top keys. At first I thought this might be a problem but it's actually helped me avoid miskeys because it's unlikely you will land right in the middle of two keys without noticing. The keytops on this board are not true chicklet keys that use scissor stabilizers. They are "Chicklet Style" keytops but they work smooth and even and don't bind, even if you hit the very corner of the key, like a lot of low profile boards will. Although there are some charms you access with the Fn key, the board is not littered with them and they are in places that don't waste your time looking for them. I also liked the grouped function keys... nice touch. The key markings are a good size and clear white for easy visibility although the blue colour for the charms can be a bit hard to see in less than bright lighting. Out of the box... Like most modern all plastic boards this one didn't sit flat right away. I used just a bit of gentle twisting on the ends to fix that and now it sits perfectly on my desk. The front centre rubber foot on mine doesn't touch the table top but a little square of black vinyl tape solved that problem very easily. It is likely that through use the centre leg would eventually sit properly, but I'm impatient. The keyboard angle is fixed. No little flip out legs underneath, but I think they pretty much got the angle right from the beginning, it's very comfortable for me. Unlike it's predecessor this keyboard has no cable length issue. It should easily reach over the back of your table to a floor standing tower, which the old one didn't. One minor issue... I must advise you to move that giant slurpee around the board, not above it. The construction of the top plate is not like standard pyramid keys, there are no water catches and no drain holes. So be smart and don't drown it in sticky syrup or boiling hot coffee, unless you have a spare. I like this keyboard... I can easily recommend it to anyone.

Fair Keyboard for Price
I bought this as I work from home two days a week and hates lugging my keyboard to and from the office. This keyboard is pretty average. I enjoy the key depth but I can imagine the soft clicking noise would be annoying if anyone was listening to me work. I kind of enjoy the noise as it's pleasant and not too sharp (is this something people say about keyboards? Idk) I am very happy with this product.

Disappointed With Key Resistance
Editing this after a few additional days of use. Initially, I thought this was a lackluster keyboard, because the keys didn't type as softly as I was initially hoping they would. Didn't want to get arthritis! But after typing with it for a few more days, I have decided that the keys are reasonably soft. They aren't the softest keys you could hope for but they are decent enough to warrant an increase in my rating, four out of five as opposed to three out of five. Otherwise the keyboard seems pretty decently configured.

i works okay
It replaces my old one that stopped working. It is lighter and a little bit smaller, but it works. The Enter Key on the right is a little different and smaller, but that's okay. I had one like that before. I am satisfied.
