Prodotto negli Stati Uniti o importato.

Great earplugs that are comfortable to use.
These are by far my favorite earplugs and they are a great value. It is nice that they include a case and also a connecting wire. The noise reduction if better than the foam type of earplugs. The medium fits perfectly in my ear and is comfortable for extended use.

Works well when in ear correct
Used a 9mm, 12 gauge, and 30-30 with them. Its all about the fitment. You gotta get them in and you'll know when there actually in. Once they are, it's comfortable and they work well. I'm not deaf, it was a good level. Don't see why you can't use it with a 556 or something similar. 4 stars because the neck cord to hold them really gets in the way when trying to put them in atleast for me. Sometimes can be hard to get in without a technique.

Disappointed-- Not What I thought I was Ordering.
I bought these to use for discreet communication. Most of the Sure Fire ear plugs have a little cap that you can take off and insert the acoustic tube of a radio ear set for discreet listening and communications. Think of surveillance assignments. Look up the Sure Fire EP4 set for a clear example. This set, the EP-5, does not have that feature, so it is useless to me. OK, that is probably my fault for failing to look at the features of every model that Sure Fire makes. The EP-4 had it so why wouldn't the EP-5? My mistake. As sound attenuators they are probably alright. The EP-5 does give 2db better protection than the EP-4. Ear plug retention in the ear is good. I am giving it a 3, not because of my error in ordering, but because of the packaging. My hands are still pretty flexible but it is very difficult to get the earplugs out and impossible without tools. I had to use a set of heavy duty shears and a box cutter to finally get them out. Additionally, connecting the lanyard to the ear plugs is no simple task either. I had search all over the house for a pair of needle nose pliers to force the lanyard pin into the retention hole. Had I not had to cut the packaging into many small pieces to get the ear plugs out, I would have sent them back. Now the only way to return them would be in a sandwich bag and that's not cool, Oh well, I'll just keep them around and put them in when Wifey's TV is turned up too loud.

More comfortable than foam plugs
I got these because I normally use the 33dB NR orange foam earplugs, and found that they hurt my ears after a few hours use. Some times my job requires me to be in a very noise environment, all day, and I need hearing protection. But using the orange foam ones would hurt my ears, and even my jaw after hours of continuous use. They really reduce the noise by a lot, but it was not worth the discomfort. I got these as a reusable, more comfortable option, and they hit the mark fairly well to that end. They clearly do not reduce the noise as much as the orange foam ones, but they are not rated to, so I'm ok with that. The shape of the ear plug is more comfortable in the ear canal, and the black part on the end makes for easy insertion and removal. I can wear these ear plugs for the whole day, and experience much less discomfort. Anything jammed into your ear is going to be annoying after a while, but these offer a night and day difference in discomfort compared to foam earplugs. However, I do have a few minor complaints, though they may simply be related to the shape of my ears. There is a "sweet spot" of how far to stick the earplug in. If I stick it in all the way, it blocks less noise than if I find a perfect spot where it's only partially inserted. Also, the top of the black outer part does irritate my outer ear, and there's no real way to alleviate that. Again, these issues could just be the shape of my ear, since these are not custom fit. Overall, I would recommend these to people who find the foam plugs to be uncomfortable.

Comfy and secure, hard to beat for the price
I have very small ear canals so I have a hard time getting a lot of these types of plugs to work well, if I do get them inserted they typically are very uncomfortable after only a short time. These are not quite as comfortable as the EP3's with the 2 flange, but they are comfortable, and they have a little higher db rating. The flange seals are fairly small and very soft so they are pretty comfy. They also stay very secure even with a cheek weld on a stock. I've had custom molded plugs before where even they would loose their seal to a degree once I had my head on a stock. I've had the ones with the filters/caps you can remove to hear better, but I've found the little caps so hard to remove that half of the time they take the whole filter unit with and/or then I can't get them closed so I like these that have a higher db rating. If you do find yourself getting ear irritation people who wear hearing aids often use an ear gel when inserting their hearing aids and it works with ear plugs too, not only does it help with irritation, but the gel also provides a better seal. It would be great if they could approach 30+ db but that would probably require a more dense material that would not be as comfortable. Overall these are a great low cost ear plug that's quick to put in, take out, and comfortable with pretty good protection.

I really like these, great for working in a loud shipyard with grinding and banging happening. Would recommend.

Great ear plugs! Nice fit. Stays in. Blocks out harm.
Sounded like good protection at first, but once my ears got more sensitive to the quieter sounds they seemed lighter of an ear plug than I expected. These are very comfortable. - - - SOFT SOUNDS - - - However, I can hold conversations with people if I leave them in and I know it’s blocking out a fair amount of harm. I’m often moving in and out of loud volumes, to quiet office spaces. These are working well for what I wanted. I can hear people shuffling around, I answered a phone and while it was quiet, I could still hear them. - - - HARSH SOUNDS - - - Intensely loud high frequency whistling from compressed air blowing that make your ears ring after just 2 seconds is not an acceptable muffled human whistle sound… This is the sound I was most concerned about blocking out. Other harsh sounds like heavy metal pieces and banging are no longer uncomfortably loud or shocking. These take out the painful top end of the sounds. If I was exposed to these sounds all day, I’d most likely for a 30db or more, just for the peace of mind. But otherwise, these do very well. They are more comfortable than I thought they would be, which I’m obviously very happy about. I’ve had a few rubbery/silicone ear plugs and found they end up wiggling out because my ear canals get slippery, but the soft ear lobe doohickies and the curved/low profile plug keep them snug as a bug. I would like to try sleeping with them once just to see how well they are for profile, but for sleeping I’d like an even quieter ear plug when camping. Birds and people can be quite loud and these ear plugs only soften those noises. I’ve been wearing them for about 2 hours straight at work and they’re not uncomfortable at all. I notice they’re there, but they aren’t bothering me and I forget about them from time to time. Depending how these feel at night, I think my next purchase will be some stronger ones for tenting (like the foam EP10’s). I really like the low profile and the ear lobe things to hold them in place because others are notorious for falling out.

They work great.
They feel good in the ear and block out sound nicely. I use the for sport shooting and they are more then enough for outside. I double up with over ears if indoors though. My only complaint is they feel less substantial then they appear in photos. They are very light and the band that connects them is quite flimsy. Not sure how they will hold up to heavy use. Overall good product though and if I can get at least 6months of use, I'd order again.

Very good
Okay so I work in a shop and it's very loud and I have sensitive ears so loud noises bother me and it's embarassing to have to wear earplugs that stick out if my ears because then people ask why I'm wearing them and I'd have to explain. But with these they are snug inside me ear and they almost look like earphones for music so nobody's asked. They also cancel out a good amount of sound.

SAVE YOUR HEARING
I am a historical re-enactor and I shoot live firing Black Powder muskets, pistols and Cannons. These weapons are very Loud and without protection, your hearing is at great risk But using the surefire ear protectors my hearing is fully protected and personally, I think these are brilliant and have persuaded others to buy as well.
