Good after washing

The sleeping mat is surprisingly helpful. I slept on a cot and it was bearable sleeping on my stomach with this sleeping mat it’s actually comfortable. I would say that if you suffer from multiple chemical sensitivity you will want to wash the sleeping mat there is no odor but a dust that needs to be washed off to make it safe to use. I washed and dried it twice and it works good for a foam pad. I don’t get a blowup mattress because I knew it would have a strong plastic odor a foam mat was my only real opinion. This Mat aside from the dust was perfect, I tried sleeping on the cot without the mat for comparison and didn’t make it an hour so the mat is definitely good. The mat seems like it would not make a difference but it really does. I gave it a 4 out of of 5 because of the dust I would recommend this to anyone even people with multiple chemical sensitivities just wash it first.

There are not wide enough

From 2-5hr of sleep camping to nearly 8!

I previously owned a lightweight inflatable sleeping pad, with which I slept anywhere between 2 or 5 hours per night while camping - waking repeatedly in the night, not able to get comfortable. It made the days surrounding my campnights inconvenient, dealing with the effects of sleep deprivation. I picked this pad up with my eye on the low price and light weight. It's not as light as my air pad was, but the extra few ounces are absolutely worth it - I slept nearly a full 8 hours on this sucker all weekend! It worked quite well for stomach sleeping (are we that rare?) and okay for short periods of side sleeping with a pretty meager pillow. And I nearly passed out on it lying on my back watching the stars. Probably it's the most comfortable for back sleeping, but I don't back sleep to save others from my snoring. It does mark up dents and dings pretty easily, but I'm not convinced that any of them are permanent, and it seems to be cosmetic damage only. It's fairly voluminous but light, and easy to cut if you want to size it just right for your pack. Mine has ties on the outside for pads, so I cut off the couple inches at the bottom where the straps were connected. Knocked off a point for eagerness to show dents and some discomfort on my legs in the night (but that could have just been evidence of how swole my thighs were after the day's hike). For me, this pad is an absolute godsend.

It’s OK, Not great

The only problem is that it’s too thin. Did it help with comfort? Not really but I’m sure it would have been worse without it. It’s as thin as a yoga mat. Maybe it’s better for kids? For adults I don’t recommend. Especially if you are on the heavier side. It’s very light weight and you can put it back together in a roll with the straps that come attached.

Functional

Not a luxury pad by any means. But pretty practical for the price. I use this under an air filled sleeping mat for a little more insulation and on lu lounge chairs for some extra padding. Pretty thin and will scratch and gouge pretty easily. But works

Okay for kids

This mat is good for kids and very lightweight and easy to transport! It is not comfortable for an adult since it is so thin.

Great for camping.

I used these on a camping trip with my Girl Scouts. It was super cold but I lined the tent with these to use as a buffer between sleeping bags in the cold ground. They worked well!

This thing is super light but fragile ????

Would actually rate this about 3.5 stars Pros: -light as heck -straps on the end are nice -quick shipping -r-value seems on par for thickness of the mat Cons:- -This thing is short, like 5 ish feet long -with the light weight comes less material, this thing is thin, better than dirt naps but not by much -if you are an off the trail explorer you have to take this thing off your pack while traversing literally any trees and sticks, after a short walk through the brush this thing looked like it tried to fight 3 large cheese graters and lost big time. Like I'm talking if trees look at this thing wrong it turns to dust. I use this under a light inflatable pad to keep it from popping and for the added r value. It works good for that aside from the fact that my inflatable pad is 6 feet and this is like 5, wouldnt recommended sleeping on this by itself, good for adding a layer to your sleep system or if your into some ultralight stuff.

Extra comodidad en tu campamento

Es mucho más cómodo usar el pad para dormir en casa de campaña, sobre todo en suelos rocosos como los de Yucatán, compra una almohada inflable y listo

Pad Blue 5/8

Este Pad es muy ligero y el de 5/8 tiene un grosor muy adecuado para suelos fríos. Con un colchón inflable hace una muy buena combinación.

Entrega rápida

La entrega fue bastante rápida. En sí el material es bastante liviano pero precisamente yo buscaba algo que no pesara mucho por el problema de estarlo cargando en las excursiones. En sí no es tan caro el producto
