Great board for a normie, stop reading reviews and buy
When i went scouring the web to find a good reasonable board I assumed it would be easy but every product seemed to have awesome review followed by a review stating the board would have been better if it was made out of concrete. It was really scary for a cheap sonuvagun like myself. I just wanted something I could easily set up and chuck darts at and every review i read must have been written by pros. I finally just bit the bullet and went for this set since it had everything i needed to start playing plus the foam wall protectors that i knew would be really important for my terrible level of play. Very happy with the value of the package. Board is great have only had a couple bounce outs because i managed to hit a number in an impossible way. Darts are adequate i do not know any better either way im used to throwing with crappy plastic tips. Comes with toe line and tape measure which both do their job. The foam protector is easy to install, kinda just hangs off the board and has saved my drywall dearly (have still managed to hit the bare wall twice). Great package for the average bloke, if you end up buying this and are disappointed at least know that you got some other packins with the board that you can use going forward.

A great kit at a great value!
I recently purchased the Viper Defender III Backboard & Sisal/Bristle Steel Tip Dartboard Bundle for my garage since my cheap plastic electronic dart board wasn't really cutting it for us. This kit has everything you need to for a first time dart player! The kit comes with 21 steel tip darts, a board, a toe line and a think backboard to help protect your walls from those stray darts that sometimes happen after a few beers. The backer board was easy to put together and even comes with a spacer tape to ensure that it holds the dart board firmly. The darts are of decent quality. The shafts are plastic and the flights are a bit thin, but they're good enough to get you started. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to buy a kit rather than buying everything piecemeal. Also, I did my research and this kit costs just about the same price as one of those high end electronic boards and with this board, you don't need to worry about power cables or changing batteries. A well made kit for any game room.

Great starter pack.
I love the surround. Not sure the extension on thw bottom is necessary, but I have kids and if they want to play I suppose it probably wont provide enough coverage for that even. For a large number of darts, it'd be nice if there were some with slim flights too instead of all standard. I do frequently have to tighted the shafts during a game, but I sometimes throw...overly aggressive so that might be more on me. As far as the board goes, I'm use to plating on a blade 4 winmau and I do have a lot more bounce outs. But I'm also playwith with cheap darts of different weights than I'm use to, so that could also be on me. Mounting my board. It does turn a lot so I do need to take it down and make some adjustments or alterations to steady it. BUT overall this is a great bundle. Very pleased with my purchase. I planned on buying "nice" darts anyway so the can of extras is great for dicking around with friends that don't really play.

Not the quality I was expecting. Made in China. Directions on throw line to wall are wrong. Board itself was warped. Installation of board to wall not very stable.

Great for the price, backboard has saved my walls from tipsy party members, and inexperienced players. Throw mat was better quality than I thought it would be, though it has started to rub off around the edges after plenty of use. Darts are cheap but not complete trash like some brands, good for guests who don't play often and won't know the difference. Only real con I can say about this is that the supplied board does have a small gap when placed in the backboard even with the liner placed in the circle but I've yet to see someone throw a dart in the gap so it's very minimully exposed in between the bottom of the dart board and the backboard.

Very easy to install. Put the pieces together then just hang off the board. Saved the wall from numerous holes already.

I bought this for my daughter’s graduation party and put it up at my mother’s house intending to take it back down and move it to my home. However now my sister wants to purchase it from me to use at her home. Obviously it was a huge hit. I will be buying another.

Great backboard and dartboard but...
Solid dartboard material. Backboard is a perfect fit. ... But damn, now I have to find a welder. Are my throws that strong to knock off #3? Come on man!!! Maybe someone would see this and send me a replacement number wire ring (whatever it's called).

Helps save my walls
I love the large foam surround that keeps my drywall from being destroyed by missed throws. The dartboard is of good quality as well.

Poor Overall Quality for the price
Purchased this set thinking it would be premium quality but very disappointed. Pretty sure they are selling 2nd's or rejects in these bundles. A few of the issues noticed: - The dart board wires are not consistently set into the dart board by a noticeable distance. - Very cheap mounting screws with no reference lines on the back of the board to mount it level. Had to replace the screws with proper ones. - The 3 adjusters for leveling on the wall are plastic, broke one while installing them. - The foam wall protector fit together very poorly with one segment a slightly different shade than the rest. - The plastic container is worth more than the darts that come in it. Defiantly... not worth the money.
