Great board, sticky as hell
Great dart board "with teeth". The light-up board is such a great feature, showing you where to aim and what's been closed out, but this "Arachnid" catch material is nuts. It basically won't let go of your darts! There was another reviewer here who recommended the Target Pixel tips for this board and I can't agree more. The Viper tips will break off in a second, forcing you to disassemble the board and punch the broken tips through. Pain in the butt. You want short, hard tips for this board. The Target tips I bought came with a promo pack of Cosmo Fit Point Plus short tips that are amazing... But not out yet. I think. ** Update (7/12/21 - 7 games later) My gut feel is, either this board is going to break or it's going to get pulled from the wall mounts due to how hard it is to remove darts from the surface. I've had a total of 6 tips break off in the board at this point, and have taken it apart twice to push them through and reassemble. While it's not too difficult to take apart, be sure to match the "notches" at the top of the various sheets to the top of the board so that you don't get any dead zones after reassembly. I've tried a number of dart tips and can safely say that Viper's own "Tufflex" brand are the most prone to decapitation. The Target Pixel tips are solid, but my friend managed to break three tips using them yesterday over a couple games of Cricket. I just got a couple packs of Cosmo tips in the mail so will try those next. There is an art to pulling these tips out - do NOT follow the instructions that suggest twisting the darts as this will sever the tips more quickly. You want to put an open hand over the board to hold it against the wall, and grab the base of the dart tip (where it gets wider toward the shaft) and pull firmly directly out of the board. This seems to minimize the decapitation rate based on my experience. However, there are some bigger issues that have come up which are somewhat related to the "stickiness" of the board. Once the board registers three hits, it prompts you to remove the darts. You have a fixed amount of time to wrestle with the darts before it rolls over to the next player. If you're not quick enough, you can easily register a hit for the next player while trying to remove your last dart and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to correct invalid hits. You basically have to reset the entire game because the board won't release the darts. Super frustrating. There also doesn't seem to be an option to change from an automatic player roll-over to a manual mode, which would be real handy given the stickiness issues. On the upside, the spots we've regularly hit do seem to be getting more flexible and loose over time so maybe there's just a tough period of burn-in before things go more smoothly.

Great fun
Darts are hard to remove. Love the games. Great indoor fun.

Good board although
Dart board is great. Darts stick. A lot of options. Only complaint is the center bullseye quit working after a week. It doesn't register single bull or double bull. That's kind of a disappointment because now you have to aim for a single.

Great board for the price
The media could not be loaded. Ordered this a few months ago when our old board finally started going downhill and so far it's been great. I love the backlighting for cricket games and the suggestive lights on where to aim are helpful to anyone new to the game. Saw some complaints on other reviews about how often tips break off and get stuck in the board and I'll say it absolutely depends on the quality of tips you use and how you pull them out. Tip: turn your darts clockwise as you pull them out and you'll have much better results. For when tips DO get stuck, it's pretty easy to open up and remove the tips, but it can get a little tricky putting it back together so mind how everything fits before you screw it back together. My 1st try had me re-opening it back up to fix the lights almost a half dozen times before I got everything situated perfectly again.

Great board. Unique backlights add to the fun
This dart board is a lot of fun. The problem with almost all electronic dart boards (this one included) is the display is very small, difficult to read from the throwing line. The unique LED backlights on this board address this problem by lighting up the segments that need to be hit. And it also adds some fun light-based games as well. My only complaint (and why this review is 4 vs 5 stars) is the darts that are included are very low quality/lightweight. Nothing unique to this board or any other manufacturers that I've seen. These types of darts are difficult to throw accurately. While they work great with this board (tips don't break, remove easily), they aren't ideal. Brings me to my next point... I purchased some upgraded darts (16G) along with the Viper 2BA Tufflex Tips III, knowing some will snap off on occasion. Or so I thought. The added weight of the darts did not pair well with those Viper tips, I was breaking roughly one tip every three throws. I was twisting them clockwise while gently pulling them out as instructed. Doesn't matter as some of these tips get bent behind the board. I was spending as much time replacing tips as I was throwing darts. Not fun. After reading the other reviews of this board I noticed Denis M. Wierzbicki's VERY helpful input regarding the same issues I was going through. He recommended the Target Pixel Tip 2BA tips. Problem solved. I've played five games of cricket without one breaking. With the Viper tips I would have broken roughly 25 after four games with upgraded darts. Couple of other nice features: -You have the option of using batteries instead of the included AC adapter. Gives you more flexibility if you need to mount it where it cannot reach an outlet. -Most games have the option of playing a cyber opponent.

Lights awesome, stickiness poor
The board lighting is awesome. It is a crowd pleaser on by backyard bar. The screen is pretty small so the group always use the lights…and there is a real satisfaction when you win and the lights go rolling! I ordered special tips just like the reviews suggested…but still a lot of broken tips and stuck darts. This is a 5 star board except docking it to 3 stars because it is just too sticky. Mandatory purchase a Fat Cat by GLD Products Dartboard Accessory to push the broken tips in. It is impossible to remove otherwise without taking board apart.

Excellent produit!

Buyer beware
I bought this dart board for a xmas gift November 2020. It stopped working 10 months after I bought it. It won't work with new batteries or even being plugged in.
