Inexpensive for a costume.
Loved the price. As others have stated the blade can be crooked. I followed another advise and ordered two. The best was the spear tip and the other I took the blade off ( it unscrews) and made it the butt. Fit tight on a broom handle (7/8”). No set screw needed. Thought I’d using it as a javelin, but the blade would bend every time. Overall I’m happy with the appearance and cost savings.

Excellent for Training and Stage Combat
Well made and well finished spearheads. Excellent for training and combat choreography. These are tension mounted, so be prepared to do more work if you need them attached to the spear shaft in a more permanent way. They come coated in a grease or oil to prevent rusting..just as they should… Wipe them off and you are ready to take over a kingdom…with a little practice first!

GREAT for the price and a bundle of (3) would ...
Not sharp (of course) and VERY small which is not a problem until you go to attach it to a shaft. The socket where the shaft goes is less than 3/4 inch tapering to 1/2 inch. The only shaft that fits is "BROOM HANDLE" size. GREAT for the price and a bundle of (3) would look historically "close" for Viking throwing spears. I will buy more!

ok practice head
a mid grade pc of work. good for a practice spear tip. does not secure to much of the staff. no holes pre drilled. i drilled 4 1/8' thru holes through the taper. 2 thru holes each on 90degree axis from each other. i then used 1/8 brass rod, hammered thru and peened on each end. this is a proper attachment. if you want you can also epoxy the spearpoint to shaft. once the inside of socket has been cleaned with alcohol. the entire spearpoint comes soaked in oil and wrapped in plastic. has paper tag with upc and "PAKISTAN' on it. again for practice pakistan grade steel is fine. this is actually a 2 pc casting that gets machined and hand ground. the "blade" is threaded to the socket just beyond the radius knub. again the machining leaves something to be desired. had to unscrew and hand file till it seated properly against shoulder. i don't mind setting my own spearpoints. i select my own clear shafts and i know when I'm done that it is not coming off. least not easily these are relatively cheap so the work i put in is fine for me. but if you don't have some tools you are much better off paying extra to have the entire thing assembled on shaft. good luck

Great for a stage prop
I bought several of these to use as props for Shakespeare plays, and they're great. No points or sharp edges right of the box, and the blade unscrews so you can use a hammer to get it fitted pretty snuggly onto a wooden shaft. There's no peen hole in the neck, and you could drill one in if you wanted, but I found that friction fitting worked fine for some light duty stage combat. For a shaft, I used a tapered rake handle that I got at the Home Depot for about $5. All told, it makes for a decent looking stage weapon.

Not very straight.
The first one I received was not quite straight. I decided that for the price, I would by an additional spearhead and whichever one was less straight would be cut down as an end cap/spike for the opposite end of the spear. The new one was slightly better made. If you are looking for a low cost option, this will do. Be advised... you get what you pay for.

SCA Marshals attention
This is a perfect spearhead for a light javelin. It is dull as a hammer making it easy to transport without poking holes in your gear but excellent for the hay bale targets we use. It can be sharpened with a file if you want to use it for hard targets. In service, Wulfgang

It was about what I expected - a tip for a spear. The end that fit over the weed pole was a bit smaller than I had hoped, but it worked.

Had to reinforce
I order this back in may, and it has served me well. It is made out of carbon steel it seems, so it does rust (good thing). The material is think and strong with one exception. It is a two construnction with the head being welded to the socket, I used contact cement and a washer to reinforce the weld. I also had to drill a hole to insert a pin to mount it to a shaft because the threading on the inside is super thin. On the whole it is a cool spear head though
