Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal
I am a 250lbs man. So it was challenging to find a scooter that could handle all my manliness. Almost every scooter I saw had a capacity of 220lbs. While riding my daughter's scooter, I could feel the deck bow under my weight. I knew I needed something more robust. I found Swagtron's KR1, which has a 264lbs capacity. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it, I expected a better-built quality, but this is on another level. This scooter will probably be rolling along when I am in my grave. Craftsmanship is top-notch. The aluminum looks to be 1/4", along with the inflatable rubber wheels give it some weight. Compared to my daughter's scooter, this takes more effort. They loved passing me as I tried to race them. There is no option to fold. Mine the front wheel is slightly bent, so it causes the scooter to weave and shake when I am cruising. (I'm planning on contacting customer service will update with results) The logo is a sticker and came with it coming off; it's not a negative for me. The back brake on mine came off-center and loose. I will probably end up taking off the back wheel and tightening the brake. The only flaw, and it's a horrible flaw, is at the deck's back instead of tapering in, it is squared. If you have ever ridden a scooter, you know the deck likes to swing. More times than I can remember, I have been repeatedly abused by the deck on my shins, calves, and ankles. This deck took the cake. I was hit smack dab on the shin's fleshy right side, and its excellent craftsmanship broke the skin. My daughters are not accustomed to seeing me cry in public, but I cried like a baby and immediately dropped to the ground. I embarrassed them, but that pain is unlike anything I have felt in a long time. I determined to send it back, but on the ride home, I fell in love again. I'm planning to buy a file to round the back edge to be mildly bruised instead of losing my daughters' respect. Hopefully, your experience will be better than mine. All in all, I am planning on keeping it.

air-filled rubber wheels
We have a lot of bumps and cracks on the sidewalk here. It's kind of unsafe to ride a scooter with small wheels on uneven sidewalks or brick paths as you can trip and fall easily. These 8'' big rubber wheels really offer a lot of stability and absorb more shocks than the PU wheels. I believe that's the reason why it didn't come with suspension. I don't need to dismount and walk my scooter over bumps anymore. Another advantage of this scooter is the low deck height. Low deck height means low centre gravity. I am very confident to go fast on any surface.

Great outdoor scooter
First, it was very easy to put together. My 11 year old did it himself. Seems like a sturdy scooter with nice wheels for outdoors- they are larger than a Razor scooter, and are rubber instead of plastic. My son has taken it on dirt tracks and said it works great. He's been using it a lot already. Fast shipping too was a bonus.

High quality scooter. Steady, moderate and fast.
This scooter glides very well! The awesome commuter Driving on rough roads is smoother - it's worth it... Hard tires only vibrate and make noise; not this scooter. I'm afraid it will slow down, but I find it doesn't matter. I'm an old boy. When I pass by, I will get many people's smiling faces, sometimes comments, and straightforward laughter. I come back to them because my commute saves time, which is very interesting. I just don't care what people think.

Nos gusto no podemos pedir mas por el precio. Hasta ahora a funcionado bien pero pensé que seria mejor la instalación de el manuvio es un poco estraña.

Absolutely love this scooter. I've almost completed and cleared Love line on it. It's definitely worth the money. If you are a beginner, it's a good choice.

producto con golpe
Hoy recibí el artículo y después de abrirlo, noté que tiene un golpe en la parte superior. Estoy seguro que fue desde el proceso de fabricación o empaque, pues el artículo venía envuelto en plásticos de protección, dentro de una caja del producto y dentro de la caja amazon. Ya no quiero esperar por un nuevo producto, pues fue un regalo, así que solicito bonificación por esa falla.

Does not use readily available bearings
If you don't live in the US, Swagtron won't help you with replacement bearings. And these ones are not your typical size. Even if you find the right size, it probably isn't of a useful ABEC rating. Since you will have to change your bearings at some point... this isn't the most practical option.

Excelente relación calidad precio

Excelente vehículo alternativo para adultos, en calles con irregularidades
Lo uso para mandados en un radio de 4km muy práctico y las llantas inflables hacen una gran diferencia. Lo que podrían hacer es ponerle salpicaderas y manubrio plegable.
