Put through the ringer
I originally bought this scooter so I could scoot with my son. I have had it for 2 years and it’s still going strong. I even use it at a local skate park and I have had no problems slowing with the foot brake.

Good, but please be aware that the brakes will not work on reasonably steep downhill
I bought this as an adult, so I could walk quickly up a hill repeatedly and ride this down (walking downhill is jarring and no fun). But this scooter definitely did not slow me down when going downhill, almost hurt myself bad. I've learned now I need a scooter with front and rear caliper brakes, which is what I just ordered. I am returning this one.

Overall great scooter
Overall nice looking sturdy scooter. Has a bell and is large enough for my older child. Wheels are larger and help her use it even in grass. 1star off because there was a sharp edge to the little kick stand that had to be sanded down. It actually cut my daughter’s foot.

Ok, but 9 is better
It’s fine, but I’m big so I returned it for the bigger model 9. Model 8 has narrower deck, but comes with bell & kickstand. Both models are pretty nice.

Great for adults! Highly Recommend this scooter!
I bought this for myself because my daughter had one and it wasn't fun to walk and fall way behind her. I tell you, this is a great buy for the $$ ! We have gone on 9 mile rides at our nearby river path. Takes bumps well and easy to pop in the car. We love, love to scooter together. I am a 49 year old woman (who doesn't act or feel like it lol) 5'8 and 140 lbs and I feel very secure and stable on it. I've easily put over 100 miles on this since my purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! So many fun times this summer and fall. Dreading the Michigan winter because they will have to wait until Spring for more adventures!

Bought 2 to ride around the block for fun, one has spotty quality
We bought 2 of these just to ride around the block for fun. We're both adults around 150-160lbs and the deck is slightly small but manageable. I'd say for any longer riding or abnormal conditions where you might need to suddenly stop, this scooter might be iffy since the brakes do take a bit to come to a complete stop One of the scooters however has a bell that is much harder to ring due to the spacing being too far. The same scooter also has the handle bar a bit misaligned with the wheel.

Mainly casual.
So far I use this fella for about one or twice a week for three months so that's close to about twenty-four days and so far it's held up to a 190-ish pound Asian going about 2 miles back and fourth each time. So far nothing is broken and riding on it is fair. I don't know what it is talking about it's wheels giving a smooth ride, but then again all roads will always have a flaw or two due to various things so it doesn't even matter. There is nothing you could call as a shock absorber so you'll feel about every bump or uneven surface as you travel. Folding it is a bit awkward as the wheel sometimes gets in the way and at times it feels stuck if you do it at certain angles. The...rear brake i suppose it is called is not what I expected. While it can slow the scooter down given enough time, but if you live on the top of a hill and going downwards at what seems like twenty MPH, you may as well jump off the scooter at the halfway point and be safer that way. I put my entire weight on the brake and I barely got it under control before reaching the crosswalk when it got that fast. I'd advise people who consider buying this to go only on even ground or anything below a ten degree angle downwards for beginners due to it's rear brake. Anything more than that requires time and experience. Other than that, this scooter is more toy than a way to commute.

An Excellent Choice For Light-Weight Travel
I've been using this for about 30 minutes a day every weekday for a little over a week now and have zero complaints. I take a public bus to and from work and use this to get from the stops to my office/house since I didn't want to deal with a bike on the bus. It is light and easy to use, and it folds up quickly and is easy to deploy. For me, one advantage it had over a Razor of similar value was its design, as it is much less branded and therefore a little bit more professional (as professional as a kick-scooter can be anyway). I appreciate the addition of a bell as I share roads and sidewalks with cars and pedestrians, and the small kickstand is a nice touch. The wheels hold up very well and make for a smooth ride, both on roadways and sidewalks, and- when I bother to use it- the brake on the back wheel works excellently. All in all a very solid choice for a push-scooter.

Not a good commuter scooter. See comments
All in all, I would not recommend this for adults looking to commute. I have used it daily for approximately 5-6km/day total over the last month. It's few benefits are the look and foldability (also relatively light). Downsides include the fact the handle isn't sturdy and rocks back and forth with weight. The scooter rattles immensely, and you can hear me coming from a block away. The rear wheel brake is complete garbage and does little to slow the unit down . There is not enough room for 2 adult feet to rest comfortably. All in all, its fun for short rides with my kid but NOT suitable for my commute.

Not sturdy
Bought this scooter in July. Has been used quite sparingly. Of recent only a child was riding it who weighs no more than 75 pounds. When I first got it, it seemed great. Did notice rattling and tightened a bolt just under the folding mechanism. This bolt is hollow and another one threads through it. The one that threads through it dropped off somewhere when my kids was riding the scooter. See pics where right side of the scooter shows the bolt is missing. The bolt in pic is the hollow one that I put in but its now unsafe to ride. Will contact the manufacturer to see what can be done. Another odd thing is the paperwork that came with the item said a 90 day warranty but the scooter details on amazon state its a one year warranty. All in all, can't recommend such a product that come apart so easily and is not cheap. That bolt is the lynchpin of the scooter to attach to the floorboard. We have an old razor that has held firm over many years in comparison. Update Nov 11, 2020 Contacted SWAGTRON and asked for the replacement part. The description clearly states one year warranty as below. They send an invoice to ship just this part. The invoice was for $30. $10 for the part and $19 for shipping & processing. What a crock. I declined as that is wrong. I could get a bolt from the hardware store for a fraction of that. I wanted to see how they honor their warranty. Now I know. Avoid this scooter savvy shoppers.

Suitable for adults
I debated a long time over different types of scooters I could have gotten for myself, an adult. I'm not mad that I settled on this one. It does rattle as other have said, however if you tighten the proper bolts the rattling is lessened, and I find that when I'm riding it there is not rattling at all. I have noticed that I need to keep the Allen keys on me as I've hit a few bumps and bolts have loosened, but it's not a big issue if you have the tools on you. Once you get momentum going it really goes very fast.

Avoid this scooter
My 12 year old used this scooter for probably 6 times and the last time he had a little accident and tripped over and the ring holding the bar cracked (pictured) and now the handle is loose and wobbly so no, i wouldnt recommend this scooter we had it for maybe a couple of months and is already useless.... money wasted avoid!!!

Snap and go, smooth ride
I looked at quite a few scooters but the reviews sold me on this one and the reviews were great! It snapped together right out of the box. It folds up pretty compact for what it is. Riding it is smooth and it’s suitable for both myself at 5 ft 2 inches or my husband who is 6 ft. Easy to manoeuvre. I even had a different one ordered but cancelled that one and got this one Instead. I’m happy with my purchase.
