Wow! The A5 is GREAT.
The A5 is so, so, sooooooo much safer than the hard wheel, polyurethane wheel, scooters. The neumatic wheels absorb bumps that would otherwise send you flying. The air tires give you a bit of breathing room and safety over rough terrain, city streets, and can even roll over grass and dirt. Now, having said that... and echoing other well written reviews, the low clearance is dangerous on city streets and uneven terrain. You must go slow and pay great attention to any irregularities in the road. Fortunately, the air tires will easily ride over many of the bumps that polyurethane wheel will send you flying. But still, the low clearance of the A5, while wonderful for kicking, will often catch an uneven sidewalk and even at dead slow speeds, the scooter will stop and move your body forward. At faster speeds you could tumble. Even so, the A5 has been the best purchase in a very long time. Very useful. We traveled to Japan and using a jerry rigged strap, slung it over the shoulders on to our back, then carried it on the trains, and used it to easily get around the city. Even over The Rainbow Bridge. We purchased fancy 30$ high grade bearings for the wheels which reduced the rolling resistance considerably. People 100% need to buy the bering, it increases the glide a lot. The A5 is also a great workout vehicle. Working the arms, legs, glutes and core. You can really work up a burn if you want too, otherwise, it's a great way to get around town.

Smooth surface only
Though the maker shows a video of this scooter traversing from one sidewalk to another via a grassy patch, don’t try it at home. When the scooter inadvertently slipped off my asphalt driveway onto the ground shoulder, the scooter abruptly stopped , allowing the rear end to fly up dangerously. Also , good luck getting air into the valve stems as the stem does not protrude out, but into the wheel. I sent mine back as I wasn’t about to risk any kids safety.

Not a Razr hater…
I love the sturdiness and the overall product. My biggest gripe is the kickstand…it’s too short so the expensive razr keeps toppling over. Probably not a good way to keep the black paint on without marks. Otherwise I would have give 5 stars. Also, combined with kids using this, lots of dings in our future.

Good for a variety of surfaces
The media could not be loaded. Buy 2 and go grass skooting. It’s liike skiing but not as cold.

Great scooter but not for city streets
So I've had this scooter for over a year and have ridden it around my neighborhood. I can say the scooter is a very smooth ride and it's very well constructed. It's held up very well. I don't know if I can really commend it though since there are other scooters on the market even with Razors other models. The reasoning is because the scooter rides lower than others I've written. It doesn't have as much ground clearance as other scooters with bigger wheels. You must be careful riding over uneven sidewalks. Because there's a good chance to bottom out and get thrown. For example, I was riding down the sidewalk near my park and part of the sidewalk was uneven and one side of it was lifted. It wasn't much, but enough that the bottom of the scooter caught it and threw me. I think other scooters would have easily cleared it. So I definitely wouldn't recommend this scooter to kids. By the way, I'm not a heavy guy. I weigh only 175 lbs and the wheels were properly inflated.

Smooth ride
I bought this scooter after reading many reviews and is almost perfect. I have back issues, weight 141 and 5'7 . I have used this scooter while raining, uneven sidewalks in NY no more than 3 miles. Pros: smooth ride, I feel safe riding this scooter. Before you ride it please check the air on the tires for a better ride. Check that nothing is loose and you will have a great ride. Wear a helmet. The scooter provides great exercise. I bought it gor recreational use only, exercise and burn calories , it is slow if you are looking for a fast commute This Is NOT the scooter for you. The scooter is close to the ground you need to be aware of uneven side walks and large cracks ( you need to raise the front wheel while riding) There is a video I watched several times in you tube that teaches you how to ride safe his chanel is have a nice ride he shows you how to lift the front wheel while passing bumps and cracks. Overall I do recomend this scooter for recreational use, a safe but slow ride.

A really good scooter !
I do like this scooter a lot! I bought 3 scooters, this was the first one. It has a nice low deck which makes it easy to kick from since you don't have to bend your other leg that much. Just beware that the deck is really low when you go over edges etc. The pneumatic tires make this a really quiet scooter, people do not hear you coming ! However, those tires do not stay hard for very long, perhaps a week or two, before you would want to inflate again. The problem is that the valves are difficult to attach a pump to, since they are small and really close to the rims. The other problem is that the folding mechanism is too slow. If you don't need to fold it for your use that is not a problem, but if you go on a bus it is most practical to fold it. Otherwise it is a really good scooter, and comfortable too. Sturdily built. The rear push-down foot brake does work somewhat even in wet conditions since the tires are pneumatic and not Polyurethane.

This kids like it
The only surprise here is that this model has pneumatic tires which will probably be problematic. Not worth trying to return it I guess, but pneumatic tires and kids don’t mix well. The others have solid wheels/tires and will last for the duration with no issues. This one will probably require frequent repairs and where you get new tubes for tires this small remains a mystery. China I guess……

Quiet, smooth, comfortable ride on all kinds of terrain with reduced speed
I did a lot of research around different kinds of scooters available in the market. I read the reviews and customer experiences, comparisons, pros and cons etc. before I got my first scooter in my life. Yes, my first few rides were so much difficult and tiring since I did not know how to do the exact body movement to enjoy the ride. Day by day with more practice, I learned how to ride this nice vehicle with less effort. I did not ride those with PU wheels but this one with pneumatic air floated wheels gave me very comfortable ride with a good exercise. I get a noiseless (no rattling at all) smooth ride on cracky, bumpy roads. Even though there is no suspension, the pneumatic tires sucks in all vibrations amazingly. I am thinking to buy a hand pump (product comes with a 5mm Allen wrench only, no pumper). If you need a slower but comfortable, quiet and smooth ride on bumpy terrain, I recommend this vehicle. If you need more speed on "very smooth surfaced" roads, there are other products with PU wheels. Enjoy your ride!

can be a safety hazard to low to the ground dangerous when turning sharply
can be a safety hazard to low to the ground dangerous when turning sharply, go very slowly off ramps of side walks or you will land on your nose scrape your knees like me. your first week of use dont speed or your will land on your nose all the time. once your know all the dangers of this scooter you are less likely to hurt your self. inflatable tires are more comfortable but slower and takes a lot of effort to push only good for teens or if you are athletic or have lots of energy. scooters will get you at least 2 times faster to your destination then walking.

Expected a little better from Razor
Like the quiet ride. Pneumatic tires really help smooth out irregularities in the pavement. Two things spoil the enjoyment though: 1: The front wheel is out of shape (slightly oval) and you can feel the handlebars bobbing up and down at higher speeds ( or always, once you’ve noticed it the first time). I expected a little better quality control from Razor. 2: At rated inflation (60 psi) the tires flex enough so the ground clearance of the deck is very low. After one ride on city sidewalks I’ve already scratched up the underside of the deck quite a bit and had to walk the scooter across ramps or speed bumps etc. I guess it would be okay on bike paths etc. but be careful crossing the streets as you may not have enough clearance for on/offramps. I’m 185 lb which is way less then the max rated rider weight of 220 lb. I think Razor should ship this scooter with higher psi tires or only rate it as a kids scooter with lower weight rating. All considered, I would not recommend this scooter, especially to an adult rider.
