Perfect!
Finally! Ever since I refurbed my late 70's pre braze-ons Bob Jackson I've tried multiple devices to hang a bottle cage, some with Velcro that just didn't grip and a metal one that i was afraid to tighten for fear I'd crush the tubes. These are a perfect solution. They grip solidly but they're plastic so they won't crush the tube, and they're low profile and probably won't interfere with cables. I installed them and then cut off most of the excess plastic. The next best thing to having a frame builder braze on some bosses. I'll be getting more for my other old but less classic road bike (if i ever get it back on the road.)

Good concept. Needs some refinement.
Addressing the product manager here... "Good concept" The amount of water one can carry restricts the range of the bike before a field resupply is needed, and one may need to plan routes accordingly when riding dirt trail or roads away from towns with convenience stores etc. For my current bike, the frame geometry and the direction of the rear shock (is a mountain bike) leaves little real estate for mounting things on the frame. The only existing water cage mount is underneath the frame, in the mud. I mounted a bag under the saddle to add two bottles, but this then restricts the saddle height to keep the bag above the travel range of the rear wheel. So ... here is a problem looking for a product to solve it. "Needs some refinement" I tried mounting a bottle cage on the front fork, and then rode a typical route. Finding: the current design isn't suitable for the shock and vibration at the front wheel. I had initially tightened the cage mounting bolts within reason (but not measured with torque wrench). The bolts soon back out when riding. How I intend to change my setup: 1) replace the current nut in the plastic housing with something longer, for more engagement with the bolt. 2) maybe add an appropriate lock washer 3) apply Loctite on the bolt 4) secure the cage with zip ties.

Stronger than it looks.
Mounted a water bottle cage to my fork with these mounts. On a ride I went down in a ditch after a dog attack. The aluminum cage bent pretty bad but these mounts still held in place. Replaced the cage and it is fine. Also use it to carry extra items that won’t fit anywhere else on changing weather rides.

Gets the job done
Easily lets you mount a water bottle holder where you don't have frame holes. Lasted for several long rides with no issues, and mounting seems really sturdy/stable. Most of the components are plastic, so some minor concerns with taking these on and off frequently, but so far so good.

A great and inexpensive problem solver
This is an inexpensive and easy to install solution for either additional mounting points for bottle cages and other accessories, or adding ball cages and other such accessories to frames that don't have traditional mounting points. My wife has a Schwinn cruiser bike that she's fond of, but has been wondering lately about a bottle cage. Although I'm sure I could have DIY'd something similar, this was much faster, and by the looks of it, promises to be reasonably durable. Installation is pretty simple, and the directions, to the degree that anyone would need them, are more than adequately descriptive. I will note that you do need your own Allen wrenches, but if you are thinking about installing this you probably have those already.

So far so good
Used these to mount my Foldylock to mu scooter. Worked great. The feel solid and sturdy, no movement at all. The lock is pretty heavy, 2.6 pounds and it seems to hold it well. My tube is oblong so there is no tendency to rotate as others have reported. I think if you use it on a seat tube or top tube where the weight is not above the straps it should not rotate.

Design Needs Improvement
The 4mm hex worm lock screw that you use to tighten the strap to the frame of your bike is plastic and the insertion depth for the hex is very shallow. Therefore, you will strip it out as you tighten and you will not be able to get tight enough to ensure that a full water bottle doesn't slip down or twist around. This design would only be appropriate for a top tube with something hanging below. Not a water bottle on any bike that goes off road, let alone one that stays on road (especially with roads these days). Not impressed at all.

Straps do loosen
After using them I have had problems with the the loosening of the straps, requiring retightening

One of the bottle cage screws seized up!
Tried to attach one of the clips to my MTB Frame and the screw for attaching a bottle cage to it seized up when tightening it. It had jammed in the back nut and this nut was gouging into my bike frame when I thought the screw was tightening inside it. Cheap threads.

Works well with thicker stems.
One of the few options available for thicker stems, like the new Brompton T Line. I used it to mount Monkii bolt clips so that I can interchange between water bottle cage and Monkii bags. Easy to install and mount is secure and tight enough to prevent sliding, unlike some velcro strap designs. Be careful when tighting during installation as the hex bolts are made of plastic and easy to round.

Practicas y seguras

Easy to install
It was hard to find but in the end Amazon had it. It fits perfectly but bear in mind that it puts the bottle cage up by a centimetre. So that has the effect to put the bottle higher and more to the middle of your frame. Apart from that it is exactly what I needed after the rivets in my frame came loose.
