Would have liked to have a sleeve that goes over the collar that can be machine washed & dried. I've worn cervical collars for many years, & the sleeve makes keeping the collar clean.

Some Useful Collar Measurements
My neck measures thirteen inches. The collar measures seventeen inches. But it barely goes completely around my neck. The tape latch measures one and one half inches to there's not much to secure the collar. The two and one half inch measurement is somewhat misleading. The collar is that measurement at the closure (where the two ends meet) but it is three and three quarter inches elsewhere. I bought the collar to sleep with and I think it will work for that purpose. But if you want a true cervical collar - one that fits and supports- this isn't it. You will have to spend a bit more to achieve true support.

Very Confortable. I Wear One Day and Night.
Use to limit the motion of arthritic joints in the cervical spine, especially in the elderly. Selecting the correct size and width is very important. Buy one each of several sizes to try. Soft and comfortable to wear even when sleeping in bed and the warmth is therapeutic. Relatively easy to hook together in the back of the neck using the Velcro tab. Can be washed with Tide and bleached with Clorox to remove the staining that accumulates. Use both hands to squeeze repeatedly in clear water to rinse the detergent from the foam. Hang over a shower curtain rod to dry. My only complaint: When new, the knit cover is a clean-looking white color but even bleaching with Clorox will leave it with a soiled-looking off-white color. If a clean appearance is important, then don't waste time washing it. Just replace it with a new one. Otherwise 5 Stars.

Adjustable, but needs some modification
I bought this collar because I'm 5'1" and the wider collars are just too big for me. The collar is adjustable in length, but the female side of the velcro is cut very short. if you don't adjust it to its shortest length, then there is an area of male (rough side) velcro that is exposed. I need to sleep with the collar on, and while I slept, the male velcro kept snagging on my pillow case. This pulled the threads of the pillowcase. I solved the problem by using some extra velcro I had in the house. I cut pieces to cover the male velcro that was exposed. It's not a great solution, but it does solve the problem of exposed rough velcro. The material of the collar itself is a medium firmness. That's enough for my needs, but if you're looking for very firm support, this is not the collar for you. Service from the vendor was very good. The collar arrived quickly.

Very helpful item for neck pain
I had a neck pain for at least 4 months which sometimes got so unbearable it spread into a headache and I had to take pain killers. I think it started from holding the phone at work on my ear while I typed information. I began wearing this every night while sleeping and it has helped eliminate the pain. I still plan to use it a few more weeks so that I don't twist my neck while sleeping. It was a great value and helped so much. The reason it's not 5 stars is that I think it should be a little longer. The Velcro is a couple inches but I only can Velcro about half inch. So I would like it to be a little looser at times.

Inexpensive Cervical Collar
Having a pinched nerve in my neck, my doctor recommended using a cervical collar at night while sleeping. This collar is made from relatively light and soft foam, so it gives light to medium support, stabilizes my head and neck, and helps me to get a fairly comfortable sleep. It adds some warmth to your neck which can be good in a cold room with a draft, or annoying if you are already hot. Overall, I do recommend this product. It is good value for the price.

Buyer beware
Very very disappointed. Does not fit at all. Wanted to return. But they do not let you return. Also just received it a day ago now see it is $3.00 cheaper today when trying to return. Buyer beware.

Good Quality but Not enough size choices..all necks are not created equal.
Good quality, still too tall for my wife's short neck, however. It is useable and will be more comfortable when broken in a little more. We are disappointed there is not a narrower brace available for persons with short necks.

Does what it says but if you want something firm, perhaps this one is best ordered a size up from what you think you need... the one I got wasn't firm or tall enough but that was my fault.
