Gift for my son

I bought this for my high school aged son who play both long pole and shorty as a defensive midfielder and defender. He loves the bag -- it's put up with the rough and tumble nature of a teenage boy and looks good doing it. It holds everything he carries to games outside of his long pole. I could not find a comparable bag at local LAX shops, and I am glad I took a chance and bought this on Amazon.

too big for middle schooler

Like all other STX lacrosse stuff, this bag seems to be of high quality and should last. I bought the 36 inches one for the boy's training. The bag is big enough to hold all his gears (including the stick) and still has room for other stuff. Love the separate shoe compartment. But the bag is way too big for a middle schooler to haul around the school. The bag is the right size for a high schooler, not ideal for younger kids. No water bottle holder is a major negative. If I had known it, I probably would not buy this bag.

GREAT LAX Bag, Wish We'd Ordered the Smaller Size for 12 Yr Old

I opted for the larger of the 2 sizes for my 12 year's bag and it is too big. We are very happy with the quality. His LAX stick fits in the outside pocket (although it would be nice to have a snap strap to hold it there). The bag is HUGE. Maybe a large guy should get this large size to hold bigger shoulder pads but for my 12 year old (who is stocky build), I should have ordered the smaller one. We like the carrying strap and it has a separate compartment for the helmet which is nice --sort of like a shoe bag. The top unzips in a semi circle so it;s easy to get pads in and out. It also has a square shaped bottom so it sits nicer than a round duffle bag. My son likes that it is designed for LAX and has the same brand name as his stick on the outside of the bag. We love it except it's too big. Will probably order the smaller one too.

Good sized bag for my son, strong seams.

Nice large bag to keep my son from losing yet another piece of equipment. He has a habit of throwing each piece over the stick and walking off the field without sweatshirts/balls/drink-bottles. This bag should alleviate these issues. I had trouble deciding which size to get my son, the 36 or 42" bag. Based on reviews, I almost went with the 36" because he is only 13 and barely 5' tall. However, I got this 42" bag and find it to be perfectly fine for him. He is very happy with this and it will still fit in his school locker. My kid likes the STX brand, I personally like it because if he likes it, he will use it. It seems to be well made with strong seams.

Does the job

Exactly the right size for all of my son’s lacrosse gear. Wish someone would make a bag more breathable to combat the smell.

Good quality and large size

42" bag, tons of room. Very good quality. Rope zipper pulls. Stick holder on the side, it's open bottom too for longer sticks. The end has a separate compartment for shoes, cleats, flip-flops, even all three.

Great bag but do not recommend for box lacrosse

This was a well made product and great value however had to return it. Had to work at arranging the lacrosse gear to get it all in and zip it up. I knew son was not going to take the time in the locker room after a game to do that so ordered a larger bag. Would be good for field lacrosse bag as not as much gear used. The ad should reflect that as I ended up having to pay for return shipping.
