Great double-cam clamp, however, can only accommodate a very thin light duty strap

The Strapworks Twocam double cam strap clamp was a great idea where no sewing of the strap is required, like with single cam clamps. However, the jaws will only accommodate a strap 1 mm (0.040 inch) thick or less. Tried to install a 2 mm thick (0.080 in) strap, it would not fit thru the cam, furthermore, a 1.5 mm strap was attempted and was too tight to easily pull through the cam.

Solid, easy to adjust

I use this as one component of a strap system to secure top luggage on my motorcycle. Most of my straps use tough plastic quick-release buckles but I liked the security of having one safety strap using a metal cam buckle. The two-sided design makes it easy to adjust where the buckle sits on whatever you are securing. Note 1: The buckle must sit on top of your load. Anything resting on top of it could unintentionally release the buckle since the release tabs are angled upward which is nice for manual operation but not so nice if anything rubs across the top of the buckle. Note 2: You can make your own out of two standard cam buckles fastened together with a bit of strap. But, the Twocam is easier to use. Note 3: If you don't like the cutesy toucan decoration, you can peel it off with your fingernail.

Strong cam buckles, easy quick to work with.

Great for cinching and holding most anything that needs to stay in place. Quality product. I’m buying more to have around. Wish i had found them years ago!

Problem solver of GREAT quality!

These doubled-sided, quick adjust buckles are something I had been searching for! These are SOLIDLY build and grip quality webbing robustly. I'm using them to hold furniture in place in our RV while in transit, and they stay tight even over the roads that make my teeth rattle! Super easy to undue too. Definitely feel like I got my money's worth.

Does what it is intended to do

It is 100% metal. It is strong and holds webbing securely. It is not light, if that is important to you.

Incredibly easy to use with no slipping

I bought these while looking for regular old strap buckles that are sewn onto webbing already. These seem to be far stronger, much easier to use than the plastic buckles, and more adjustable as you can tighten webbing straps from both ends rather than just one side.
