This are the Best Reliable boot/shoe Traction that I have purchased for Jackson, Wyoming weather.
I have tried a number of different boot/shoe traction cleats. We get a lot of snow/ice in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming area and I have an asphalt driveway. This has worn out the traction devices that have cables or chains holding them together in a matter of weeks. The Stabil MAXX have had the best traction and are holding up better than all of the others. I have now purchased a total of 2 pairs for myself and 1 pair for my wife. The only issue for not giving 5 stars is that the rear ankle hitch came unstitched/unfastened where it connects to the foot bed. I was going to return it but remembered an old school ski patrollers 1" webbing ankle hitch that eliminated the problem connections and used the attachment points to foot bed. Better than new as there is no stitching to wear out. Thanks for making a really good product and I hope you improve on the rear ankle hitch connection to the foot bed.

Great for getting on and off
I have huge feet and the larger size( I ordered two sizes and I need the larger one) was what I needed but saying that they not only fit my winter boots but I could also use them on my waterproof walking shoes, which aren't as bulky. They gripped the ice and I felt very stable, better than the mini spikes. They are so easy to get on and off and adjust with the Velcro. The only downside, if you travel with them, is they are harder to pack than the mini spikes, they do take up a bit of room. I feel I finally found a good solution to not slipping on ice.

Very strudy
I definitely would recommend these for added confidence when walking on snow and ice. I live in Minnesota where this year we had over 89 inches of snow and a lot of ice hidden under it. After falling wife I spent the money to get this pair of cleats. This is my second pair....at 73 years old I can't afford to fall and my driveway is steep. I don't shovel without them on. Highly recommend!

The only traction device that fits my size 13 boots.
These are heavy-duty. They work great, although I would prefer slightly lighter and smaller pack size. But they are one of the few traction devices that fit my size 13 boot, so I use them.

Excellent
likely the last pair of ice cleats I will ever have to buy sizes. Do run large.

Not made in the USA anymore
Always wanted a pair of these and so far they seem the next best thing to wearing 10 or 12 point crampons, which would be problematic for my job. But I am disappointed that they are aren't made in the USA now, but in Taiwan, which is better than China but still...

XL size is very very large more suitable for size 14 and up
I wear a size 13 boot which in itself is quite large and the s tabilicers were way too big in length and width to fit securely on them..., probably fit a size 14 and up.

Very good on glare ice. Impossible to slip. Lousy customer service!
Durable heavy sole and straps. However a few of the cleats have come out because the rubber towers that hold them tore. I contacted the company and so far have been blown off. Two months now. A repeat request said essentially “we’re very busy. Don’t bother us”.

Front Soft Plastic Loop broke within 6 weeks!
The soft plastic loop where you pull the front straps tight broke within 6 weeks - after the return period!! The traction is great, but now there is no way to secure them on my boot!!

A must to have
Extremely happy with this product. I keep one pair in the car and one pair in the house. Where we live, it is a must to have to avoid injuries on our sidewalks.

Arrived defective!! Horrible customer service!!
Arrived defective! One of the cleats is about half the size of the rest and covered in semi-hard black plastic. Contacted Amazon and manufacturer Stabil as my size is now sold out... over a week and no answer - horrible customer service!! I expected a lot more from Amazon....

Too big and clunky
Too big for normal wear

Oversized and bad fitting
I ordered the recommended size "M" for my US 9 shoe size. The moment I unpacked the cleats I was aghast how huge the entire soles are and was apprehensive WRT the fit. Sure enough, wearing my heaviest winter boots, I can only describe the cleats as enormous and with a 3/4 inch heel section extending the soles of my boots. Although the toe caps fit snugly, the heel part was just another story. Since a long section was extending at the back and no way to adjust the heel straps, I was unable to achieve an adequate fit by just wrapping the straps around my ankles as suggested. You end up with the heel straps forming a big loop and with the rubber flaps staying ajar. So, to overcome this a bit, I had to pull the straps very tightly upward and then wrap them around the top most shaft portion of my boots. Although I understand the need to fit one size for various shoe sizes, these cleats completely fail the target due to lacking means of adjusting the heel straps. What I know now a size "S" would have been more than sufficient. Considering the heavy price tag, I would have expected something better. I have not tested the cleats jet on slippery ice/snow surfaces and hope they live up to their promises. A video I watched from the supplier conveniently left out the back part after fitting. So now we know why.
