I love these (unfortunately so does my puppy)

I am "old school" and have always used my fingers to apply foundation (or the two-sided velvet compact sponges I used to get in the late 90's that I can't find anymore). I tried using a foundation brush but never had any interest in using the sponge everyone was raving about all of the sudden. Then one day I was waiting for a script to be filled at Walgreen's and saw this Wet and Wild sponge on clearance for like $0.80. Of course I snagged it up (the adorable winking bunny sold me). The next day I decided to try it out. At first I used it dry and it just felt wrong, so I decided to rinse it out and use it wet (like I did with the aforementioned 90's ones) and wow! I was hooked. (Come to find out that is actually how you are supposed to use them.) I have never used any other brand. I know there is the "original Beautyblender ", but why pay more when you can get this? Wet and Wild has really stepped up their game since I started using makeup over 30 years ago. They are no longer a brand I would never use. I just wish my puppy would quit grabbing these! He has never actually eaten one (that could be dangerous), but he basically renders them useless. I had them on Subscribe and Save, but thanks to his obsession with them, I need them even more frequently! Please heed my warning and keep them safe from puppies/dogs that like to chew bright pink, tear-shaped objects! P.S. I tried the other kind (microfiber) hoping it would work like those sponges I used to get back in the day, but nope. I prefer this one.

Very Similar to the RT Sponge, But Better and I Prefer It Over the Beauty Bleander

Great makeup sponge! I wish I would have tried it sooner and saved my $$$. This beats any sponge I’ve used and I’ve tried over 10 brands/sponges. It’s a great value, super easy to clean and is soft, but not too soft! I clean it with regular brush soap and it cleans well. All around it’s the best sponge ever and for $3, who can beat that? Wet n’ Wild is killin it!! I go into detail below about my experience with this wnw sponge and how it compares to other popular sponges. It’s a bit long winded and the highlights are above! It expands a good size when wet and is the right amount of firmness. I love the shape of it! I can do everything from powder, contour, to foundation with it. It has a nice bounce to it and leaves your foundation flawless! It doesn’t have huge pores like the elf pink one, which is my least favorite sponge ever. But it doesn’t soak up tons of product either, similar to the elf sponge, but not quite like it. The elf sponge doesn’t absorb any product, which is why I think I don’t like the elf one, I can go in and get the excess concealer/foundation evened out. WNW doesn’t have that issue it soaks up just enough product to blend well. It is very similar to the Real Techniques blender sponge, that I have used till now, but like the improved version! I can clean it quicker than the RT or BB and it takes less cleanser. During the wash before I used it a lot of pink cane out of it, but that is normal for bright pink sponges. After the 2nd wash it stopped bleeding pink dye. I’ve washed it 5 times and it still looks/seems brand new. It is kinda like the Beauty Blender but much better and a little more dense, which I like honestly. I have had several real Beauty Blenders, but I prefer other sponges because it’s a little too soft and sucks up a lot of product. Plus I hate paying $20 for a sponge I’ll use for 2 months, because that’s how long they usually last me.

better then real techniques sponge!

i used real techniques sponge for years, and i gotta say i like this one much better! overall it’s cheaper, softer, absorbs less foundation, and applies smoother with less streaking. i use this with my estée lauder double wear foundation and my elf hydrating camo concealer and it blends like a dream. i clean it after every use with a mild face cleanser and it still looks new after using multiple times.

Great sponge

I have tried a few brands, from eco tools, real techniques, to the Beauty Blender. I have 4 of these sponges and I love how it applies makeup on my skin. I spray makeup setting spray on it, then apply my makeup. It has a pointy end, and a flat edge on one side. I use the pointy end for concealer application. I use the flat edge for my liquid blush. The bottom rounded end applies liquid foundation and cream bronzer evenly. I don’t wet this under water, so I can’t speak on how it works dampened with it. I do like to use this dry or with setting spray.

La unica capaz de sustituir a la beauty blender!!

He utilizado muchas esponjas de gama baja y aunque algunas pueden ser buenas siempre regresaba a la beauty blender porque ninguna era tan suave o trabajaba tan perfecto y facil de lavar, ni siquiera la de real techniques (que he usado mucho pero no se compara)... y esta de WET N WILD es lo MAXIMO es igualita en textura, se limpia facil y deja un acabado tan bello... si tuviera los ojos vendados no podria darme cuenta que no es la beauty blender..aparte es mega barata!!! ES PERFECTA!!!! La unica esponja que utilizare siempre.

Maravillosa

Nunca había probado una esponja así para maquillaje. Funciona muy bien en seco y mojada, mojada me gustó más, porque es más suave, difumina mejor y gasta menos producto, Y cuando está mojada aumenta su tamaño, casi al doble. Estoy muy feliz con esta compra y vale muchísimo la pena cada centavo pagado por ella porque puedes aplicar corrector, foundation, el contour e incluso polvo con esta esponja. La amo y volvería a comprarla mil veces más.

Excelente producto

La esponja crece de tamaño al mojarse, y es muy suave al momento de aplicar el maquillaje, tiene la punta pequeña para alcanzar lugares difíciles. Muy buena calidad, sin duda vale la pena darle una oportunidad a este producto sin tener que pagar mucho por marcas caras. Definitivamente la volveré comprar.

Un poco más durita de lo que imaginaba

La única que he usado aparte de esta ha sido la de Real Techniques y aunque esta me gustó (empaque bonito, color igual) como que siento más suavecita la naranja de RT, esta la sentí un poco más durita aunque también rebota bien. Creo que están similares en cuanto a la facilidad con la que se aplica el maquillaje, ya veremos cómo y cuánto se desgasta, la de RT la tengo hace casi dos meses y aún sirve, compré el paquete de 4 a un poco más de 100 pesos (como 108 pesos mx) y esta sale unos pesos más cara. Actualización: como que cambiaron el material y está segunda que compré está bien porosa, y no aplica padre el maquillaje. El material anterior estaba más bonito, definitivamente ya no la volveré a comprar. Compré unas de beauty creations súper suaves y a estos precios.

WET N WILD

Seit lange wollte ich diese Makeup Sponge kaufen. Die sind sehr weich und lassen den Makeup (Foundation) sehr gut auf Gesicht tragen und als Ergebnis bekommt man ein sehr natürliches Aussehen. Die Sponge lassen sich schnell und leicht waschen und das Bestes ist die verlieren beim Waschen ihre Form nicht und sind langlebig. Die Lieferung hat ein bissen gedauert weil, die Sponge aus den USA kommen. Die waren aber sehr gut verpackt. Ich kann nur sagen, es Lohn sich diese Makeup Sponge zu kaufen. Die Qualität und der Preis sind wert. Vielen Dank
