This is exactly what I wanted. I am an average sized guy. 5' 11" - 180 lb 72" wing span. Thin arms tho. I bought the youth size since all the others are simply too big or too long. For 99% of the bows out there it needn't go all the way to the wrist. Your brace height is likely 7-8 inches, so if anything is gonna get a slap its that soft skin on the inside of your forearm 7-8 inches from your wrist. The bow string will only go minimally past the brace height point, so why have all that extra material? I don't usually need an arm guard as with proper form you shouldn't slap your arm.. But we don't always display perfect form on every shot do we? All it takes is one good string slap and you don't want it to happen again, so I wear one so I'm thinking about other things than keeping my brace arm bent just right.

Nice, Protective Armguard

I ordered this for my 13 year old son and my 10 year old daughter. It fits them both nicely and offers more protection than others we purchased. My son is on the smaller side, so if you have a bigger 13 year old, you may want to order an adult size. I recommend measuring their arm before you order to be sure.

Looks good to me

This was purchased as a gift for a young boy. It was given a part of a Christmas package. That's all I can say about it. Should I get more input from the boy I'll upgrade the comments. I was glad to get it. WDBA

Comfortable & Does The Job

Fits my 9 year old daughter's arm very well and per her is comfortable to wear. Decent quality and with no issues. My daughter states she likes the look, but it would be awesome if it came in a pink pattern.

This works great. This is the second one I have bought. My 14 year old has one that he uses with his bow. So, of course, my 12 year old son wanted a bow too. The armguard really is a must-have for shooting a bow. Otherwise your forearm will feel the pain of the scrapes. Good product, good price.

Good quality but very small.

Much smaller than I expected. Not even the length of my hand and I am a woman. For my son and Im not into archery so I cant say how big it should be but I expected something a little larger and it was just a tiny little thing. Good quality though, just small.

This is a quality product and works great on my five year old daughter. The padding is thick and durable, like I'd expect on an adult version. Highly recommended.
