This is the best one out there!

I’ve replaced these plugs before. Usually go with the “yellow” brand. Never will again after finding this one. The plug is compact and very well-made. The wire clamping mechanism is superior to others on the market. Take your time and measure everything well and this will go together perfectly. I feel that you can pull for 30 amp load on this in the summer and not have to worry about it. Overheating or failing. I’m very happy with this design! When you’re finished, it will look like a factory stock cord plug.

Read reviews before installing!

I like the fact that this plug is 90 degrees and has a long shank for ease of plugging it in and removing. Ready the earlier comments for helpful hints to get wires into plug make up area. Ther is definitely a trick to it. Once we figured it out connecting the wires were a breeze. Haven't had it installed long but seems to be holding up well so far.

Functional

Not the best design but functional. There is a much worse product which I purchased and threw away. I would purchase this again. There are very good instructions to be found online so no need to duplicate.

Difficult to assemble

The angle of the wires relative to the connectors make it difficult to connect them and assemble the plug.

Nice part.

Original part melted in a faulty State Park outlet. Rewired with this plug and it works great. It also fits in my outside recessed spot, the ones with the giant pull handles won't fit in that recess.

Great RV replacement plug

Fits in the compartment just fine, glad that it's not so large as others on the market. Added a little silicone around the cord to keep moisture out as others mentioned. Easy swap with good space for the wires. Glad to have found this one!

good quality at good price the but end should be smaller so it does get caught in the hole when trying to pull it out

Good replacement plug.

This plug is well made with good, sturdy wiring clamp terminals and solid blades in a Nylon Base. The Cable Clamp for the cable jacket grips very well. An easy plug to install and grip well for inserting and removing from the Power Receptacle. This plug is properly sized and built for a 10-3 cable, as used in this RV 30 Amp application.

Good price and works well

I bought this just in case and sure enough I ended up needing it in the middle of a long RV trip. It was fairly easy to install but the instructions are not super helpful. You just have to look at the diagram and go for it.

30 Amp RV Plug

The end of my RV electrical cable was starting to fray. When I took it in to have the RV serviced they told me that it would cost $125.00 for a new cable. I was able to replace the end in about 15 minutes at a fraction of the cost of a new cable. Excellent component.
