5 year old daughter loves it

My kiddo is a size 8 in most things currently, so I bought a size 10 to be safe. Thought it would end up baggy on her, but nope, fits perfectly. She seems to love it and thinks it makes her faster in the water. Who am I to disagree. Seems well made and didn't tear in the rear immediately when she hopped up onto the concrete side of the pool repeatedly (I had this problem with a less expensive suit). I'll be sticking with this brand for sure.

This suit fits in accordance with the corresponding size chart, so I recommend taking the small amount of time it takes to measure your child thoroughly before selecting (or guessing) what size to purchase. A fabric measuring tape is best for accuracy compared to a stiff, metal tape measure (Google helps in the "how to" department). If you don't have measuring tape, use ribbon (or anything close to a ribbon) to measure around the chest, waist, and hips, then measure the length of the ribbon for each with a ruler. Using clothing size to determine bathing suit size is risky if not inaccurate as body types vary, especially since skin-tight suits are not as forgiving as regular clothing.

AS LONG AS YOU KNOW IT RUNS SMALL

This suit is great, as long as you know that it runs small. I didn't want the straps falling down (etc) for swimming lessons so we bought this... her first decent suit. My daughter is 6, but is one of the bigger kids in her class. She's 42" tall and 55#. She wears 7/8 shirts and size 8 (never slim) jeans. We bought this suit in a size 10, and it's perfect. Eaay for her to get on, and only a TINY bit baggy in the hips. But certainly nothing that bothers her. Covers her rear end well/fully & doesn't ride up.

Fits right now (subject to change)

I'm giving 5 stars but will update after she uses it in pool. My daughter is a gymnast and Speedo is the only brand that fits her athletic build. This one I love because it is snug and has the extra support on the bum area. I bought her actual size 10 but it is really snug. I've read reviews and they seem to say once in water it does become looser. I just ordered a size 12 just in case we grow out of this one before end of summer. Best prices and with Prime shipping you just can't beat it.

Small size, great quality

It is really good quality but it is sized very small for a size 10 and I was not impressed that the groin area was not covered with the protective paper layer that swimsuits come with. Really made me wonder if my product was someone else's return :(

Excelente para natación

Muy buen traje de baño lo compré talla 10 para mi hija de 7 años y le queda bien, excelente para sus clases de natación, ya que trae una especie de pegamento para ajustarse en las piernas y mantenerlo en su lugar, recomiendo una talla extra porque viene ajustado.

Il tient bien, belle qualité. Grandeur 10 pour ma fille de bientôt 8 ans. Un peu grand mais fait bien.
