Very handy

I wasn't 100% sure when I ordered this, mainly because even though you read a description, seeing it in person can be different. But I was pleasantly surprised. It took me a min to figure out how to hang in on the pegboard, but it was totally just user error and there isn't any instruction for the peg board "installation" (It was a long Monday - give me a break). They do however tell you how to mount it, as well as include the hardware, if you want to mount it elsewhere. I didn't try that out, as I want it for my peg board. Anyway, I digress. This basket is super handy. I think I will end up ordering more, and using them with the wall mount elsewhere in the house. I see it being very useful in the bathroom to hold wash clothes or hand towels for guests, or even mail in the entryway, and countless other things. I'll be using it in the craft room and hopefully will be able to upload a picture once I get everything organized. If you are looking to purchased this item, and have read this far in my rambling review - go ahead and add this to your cart. It looks nice, feels sturdy and will be greatly versatile. I literally just received it yesterday, so if it doesn't hold up, I'll post an update, but I have high hopes and think it will be perfect for my needs!

Works well with standard 1/4 in pegboard, but not with other Spectrum Diversified baskets

This basket works great with standard 1/4 inch pegboard. The back of the basket sits flush against the board and everything looks great. The only issue I have is not exactly with this product, but with Spectrum Diversified's basket offerings as a whole. I left a very similar review on on the 16x4x4 version of the Spectrum Diversified baskets to hopefully warn others so they don't have to try as many versions as I did. The company offers at least 4 different pegboard baskets but they are not made to look good next to each other. I bought three different types of baskets from them and none of them fit on the board in the same way, so the bottoms did not line up with each other, making for a pretty hodgepodge looking setup. In the end, I returned 2 of them and ordered a total of four of the 10x5x7, only because that size best fit my needs. This basket on its own is great, and if you needed multiple, I imagine they would work well together, but I do not recommend mixing and matching the different sizes from this company unfortunately.

great for organization

I purchased this pegboard basket in the hopes that I could put all of those misc tools that you want to keep but not display on your pegboard. It meets all of my expectations and then some. I threw 3 safety goggles and 6 small c clamps in it. I can see them in the basket so I will be able to find the stuff again. But it does not hog up my peg board space like hanging the stuff on individual pegs used to do. You should get one or two of these baskets.

Sturdy basket but misses the mark for pegboards

This is a great product, it's sturdy and is great for storage. If you're using to mount on the wall, it's definitely 5 stars. However, if you are using with pegboards, it missed the mark. (For reference: I have a standard pegboard constructed from material purchased from a big box hardware store.) While the pegboard hangers did hang correctly with my particular pegboard, I could not get the basket to lay flat against the pegboard, it was angled from the wall almost an inch. I ordered two and both were this way. Since I couldn't find a better alternative in the size I needed, I kept and have hung using the wall hanging holes with standard pegboard hooks from another set. It now hangs correctly, but in my opinion, sort of defeats the purpose of buying pegboard baskets.

Great For Peg Boards

I used these for my son's Nerf Gun collection of balls and darts. While it holds the balls fine, the darts tend to find a way out. They are very sturdy and feel like they would handle a good deal of weight. They fit in the peg board very easily and haven't shifted or come out.

Great basket, inconsistent size

We ordered one of these baskets to test and see if we could spray paint it bronze and hang it on our laundry room wall to hold hats and mittens. It worked perfectly, so we ordered four more baskets. We spray painted the other four and hung them up, only to realize the first basket was a slightly different size (about 1/2 inch shorter from top to bottom)--even though we ordered the EXACT SAME PRODUCT! Overall, we are very happy with the baskets but be forewarned that if you order more than one, they may not all be the exact same size!

Good sized basket for storing a variety of things!

The size is perfect. I got several -- one to hold some fruits, the other snacks bars, etc. Pegboard basekets usually come small and this is perfect for holding a variety of items. Seems sturdy and priced reasonably.

I bought these baskets for in my daughters nursery to hold receiving blankets because I am lacking storage. I can ft 6 blankets rolled up in each basket! These will come in handy for sure.
