1000x better than Amazon Basics
I bought 1000 ties with same specs from Amazon Basics, they were horrible, 50% failure rate. I thought well maybe you can't just buy lower priced ties and expect them to perform too well. These ties from South Main though are priced just as well as the Amazon ties. I used all 1000 for tying together strips of subterranean vinyl coated hardware cloth. I didn't have a single failure in all 1000. Every tie held tight and none broke. Excellent quality. I've used expensive metal barb panduit ties, sure these ties aren't jumping up a weight class and punching with the heavyweights but in value for money if you just need the basics, I don't think you'll find a better value than this.

Good Zip Tie, not junk
If you're old school looking for a zip tie that doesn't slip or break this is the one. I was sick of junk, I'm happy with these.

Bought 2 different brands to compare and while the South Main Hardware are a little higher in price you get what you pay for. Much better quality, larger in length, larger in width and the locking head is larger as well. Just overall a much better product. Cheaper brand stated, HEAVY DUTY, yeah right. I use a lot of cable/zip ties and hard to find good ones but these are!
These cable/zip ties are strong, flexible and the locking clips hold really well. I have bought a lot of cable/zip ties over the years and it has been really hard to find good ones at a reasonable price but these are good and a really good value.

Strong, High Quality Cable Ties
I use cable ties by the thousands on my farm (for portable fencing & nursery tree support) & I've tried many brands. *These 75 lb ties are sturdier than anything else in the same price range.* The head/locking mechanism is visibly bulkier/stronger than others in the same price range (The "lock" takes most of the stress so it needs to be strong.) They're slightly longer than 8" which is a nice surprise... usually ties are a little shorter than advertised. The nylon is a bit more flexible than other brands so they're easier to use, especially in cold weather. BEST VALUE IN CABLE TIES ON AMAZON.CA AT THIS TIME.
