Cheap price, velcro starting to wear out after a couple months.
Shorter than I expected them to be, probably just a miscalculation on my part. I've been using it for about 3 months and the Velcro has noticeably lost some of its strength. still usable right now. Still works fine, and it was a very cheap price.

Not 5" hook & loop, but 9" plastic
Like all the other reviewers here I also received the larger, plastic zip ties rather than the hook and loop ones. Sad because no velcro here and was kind of looking forward to that. I didn't read the reviews before hand! Zip ties are always useful, but hook & loop = useful+1.

Useful for small jobs
These are pretty small but are a good choice for controlling a few small cables. I think their use is probably limited to office/computer/audio data cables but they do a good job of it.

These hook and loop cable ties are the thickest, strongest, shortest hook and loop cable ties I've ever owned. They are strong enough that if I overlap two strips by about an inch and lock the connection, I could pull the two ties like I'm doing tug-of-war with myself and they will not fall apart. Short. Did I mention short? You could always seal them end to end like I did above make them the length you need, or just buy longer cable ties. For the most part, expect to use these cable ties for things like USB cables, not heavy duty extension cords. It's a shame. Something this thick and strong ought to be longer.

I'm confused
I'm not really sure about this... I "thought" I was receiving 10 5 inch nylon hook and loop fastening cable ties, however what I received was 100 plastic 9 inche zip ties. The zip ties are great, and I'll use the living daylights out of them, but I was expecting something that I could easily tighten, open and then retighten (whereas the zip ties are basically a one use, tighten and then cut off kind of thing).

Secure, low-tech, and pretty inexpensive.
A strong and secure holder for anything you want to keep together. I have used them to (try to) organize all the cords under my desk going to three printers, one scanner, one craft cutter, and between 3 and 5 external hard drives at any given time. Consider that each has a cord to the computer and an a/c cord and you begin to envision the mess that I had and the problems that accidentally pulling on one could have on my system (and my nerves). I am now much more in control. I will need more packs before the chaos is completely tamed. Also because, once on, you have to cut them off since it's impossible to undo them--they are that secure. But set of cords is paired with its "partner" close to the source (at the printer); close to where it's plugged in to the computer, and somewhere in between to keep them together. Aside from computer cord taming (which I doubt is the main intended use) there are a million uses around the house and I plan to find them all.
