I bought these as filler items so that my order would reach the free-shipping amount. The cost and value is similar to any local department store.

Little lead spheres that keep your bait underwater. A "reel" bargain, too!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a kid to fish and you spend your afternoon and part of the evening trying to untangle fishing line from the reeds and low hanging branches. What you NEED is cheap sinkers and what South Bend has is just right for you. These things are small. I mean really small. And that is my fault for not knowing what B80 means (if that is, in fact, what B 80 means), so I'm not faulting the product for that. I uses these sinkers to fish off a dock with young children. Are we casting 20, 30 yards out? No. We're drowning worms within arm's length of the dock. These sinkers keep the hook under water and that's really all they need to do. Want to try your hand at casting? Then just put on 2 or 3 sinkers to give the line more weight. They're small enough to not scare the fish and cheap enough that you won't be upset when your preschooler hooks the tree again and you have to cut the line, losing your hook, float, and sinkers.

Would not recommend. Was not not sealed completely so all I had left was ten. Nice gap in the box for them to go flying out.

Disappointed

I received an empty shipping envelope the first time, then a replacement was sent which is a different product than what is pictured. I wanted the type that you can reopen easily like in the picture but these do not. Very disappointed.

Not just for fishing!

I think these are for fishing....but that is not what I ordered them for. I put them in the acrylic craft paint bottles to help keep them mixed. Just drop 2 or 3 in the bottle and shake!

Missing weights

Unfortunately the packet opened in the box and, as you can see in the photo, there is an opening at the bottom of the box. I counted the weights and we’re about 20 short.

Nontraditional Uses

I used these lead weights to model for my 2nd graders that lead is not magnetic. They worked perfectly for our experiment.
