Works like a charm

Works like a charm. Beats buying a helmet or using sock tape to make it look like your strap is on! Super easy to install, don't get kicked off the ice, just buy one of these suckers and fix it! Just a quick update April 2016. I have now had this for roughly 10 months now. Still going strong, unlike many of the straps I have used, the metal snap is NOT rusted (amen!). Haven't had any issues with the strap coming loose - The thing snaps tight. I have bought multiple A&R brand products, and have not had any issues to date. Solid company, solid product. Will definitely be coming back to them for all my accessory needs.

Hockey helmet chin strap

it's a good replacement for your helmet but the plastic part makes you think it will wear out sooner than you expect, i have been using this strap for about 2 months now and has been working really great, other than that this product is a good replacement part Update: the metal part gets rusty with time, unlike original bauer or easton straps, but it's not a big deal, i just ordered a couple of them to replace the old rusty one cause I don't want to have that rusty metal in my helmet, this time I got the Proguard one.

Defective.

The snap doesn't fit the hole in the buckle. If you try it the right way, either the snap is too big, or the hole is too small. If you try it the other way, the buckle doesn't hold the snap at all. So much for quality control. We got the navy blue. I wonder if a different color would have both pieces fit correctly ... OK, I got the snap from this one to work with the buckle of my son's old strap. (the old snap rusted and broke off in the old buckle. Had to get the piece of snap in the old buckle out 1st.) So it would appear as though the hole in the buckle of this one is too small. The snap is the right size.

Very easy to install and fixed my helmet. You can't even tell I replaced it, the only issue is that the chin strap is way too long but I cut it and used a lighter to burn the new edge and it looks like brand new!

No complaints here; Used to replace my a broken/corroded strap buckle on an Easton old helmet. Took more time to pry the broken piece off than putting these on and I was back in business quickly before my next game.
