Just what I needed and a bit more

I got this because the check valve on my HDX 2 gallon deck sprayer (think orange big box store) had deformed, and so I couldn’t get any pressure built up to spray. I bought this item on Amazon since the check valve looked identical to mine, and it was. Took 30 seconds to pop off the old one and push this one on in its place. At first it looked a bit small but it actually it was the old one that had gotten bigger when it warped. My sprayer works better than it has in a long time! The only thing I didn’t like was I couldn’t find just the check valve for sale anywhere, so I had to buy this kit at higher cost, and get parts included with it that I don’t need. It’s still cheaper than a new sprayer though.

My sprayer is new again!

These seals did the trick! It no longer loses pressure and the pumping action is smooth and steady. I bought these seals since I was doing a full overhaul on my sprayer. The seals are the heart of the pump and work to perfection . I've owned it for 17 years and look forward to another 10 without having to to do more than rinse after every use.

Works perfectly

This was a little pricey but it restored my sprayer to good function. I thought I only needed the gasket but added the whole kit and my sprayer is working well again.

Exact replacement

I own both a Smith Commercial sprayer and a Roundup Sprayer - both are exactly the same unit. These parts fit both perfectly. The brown Viton seals are a bit better against harsher chemicals than black butyl so I go with these. A tad pricey for seals but they will hold up a couple years. Note: There should be three seals and the plunger in a bag per pix - I had to return the first order as it was missing one seal but Amazon was great on it.

Brought the old sprayer back to life

This rebuild kit did bring my old sprayer back to life. It was super easy to install and worked as advertised. Why then 4 stars rather than 5? Price. I know repair parts for anything are always over priced, but in my opinion the cost for this kit was excessive even by those standards.

Just what the doctor ordered

The plastic tip in my plunger broke and I needed to get it back in action ASAP. This kit did the job. Just writing the review to say it does fit on the Smith Contractor 190216 2-Gallon Sprayer for Weed Killers, Herbicides, and Insecticides (which is not mentioned in the product description) - https://amazon.com/gp/product/B002YNSAGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sprayer Rebuild

My Smith sprayer stopped pumping properly so I needed an o-ring for the pump. I ended up using everything in the kit and the pump works like new. The only problem with the rebuild was the white plastic plunger. Screwing it off and then back on was a bit of a challenge without tearing it up. I had to use pliers to get it off and back on. Overall, not difficult but definitely an improvement.

overpriced but very effective

The price is double what it should be, but the Service Kit installed easily and worked extremely well. I used silicone on the O-ring and the sprayer pump has never worked as well as it does now.
