Stop Slipping and Sliding
As a homeowner, I'm always looking for ways to keep my family safe, and that includes making sure our rugs don't slip or slide out of place. That's why I was excited to try the 3M Tekk Protection Anchor Rug System, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. Installing the system was easy and straightforward, and it has made a noticeable difference in the stability of our rugs. Even in high-traffic areas, our rugs stay securely in place, reducing the risk of slips and falls. One thing I appreciate about this product is that it doesn't damage our floors or rugs. The system uses adhesive pads that stick to the bottom of the rug without leaving any residue or marks. And if we ever need to move or reposition our rugs, the pads can be easily removed and reapplied. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the 3M Tekk Protection Anchor Rug System. It's a simple and effective solution for keeping our rugs in place and reducing the risk of accidents. If you're looking for a way to make your home safer and more stable, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Easy to use, but...slips sometimes
The whole point of these little things is to keep my rugs in place, however they have slipped a couple times!!

Best product to hold rug to hardwood floor, damage-free removal
I have to say I'm extremely satisfied with this product. It's a shame they're seldom sold in stores around here. I can honestly say that after trying 2 other similar products (made for the same purpose) from other brands, there's no contest. This 3M product cleverly uses a new plastic/polymer interlocking design which is similar to velcro but more staying-power to hold your carpet / throw rug to your finished hardwood floor (or other types as labelled). My criticism is that they are not a friendly price for four of them. I think if these were marketed more and the price point dropped 3M would make a lot more money on this great product in the long run. The other products I used were easily obtained at the big hardware box stores, but are inferior in performance. With all the foot traffic in my home I chose to "bite the bullet" and buy two more packs of these for key locations where I don't want the decorative rug to slip. The adhesive side of each pair which stick to the carpet underside has not fallen off in over 6months. The adhesive side that sticks to the floor uses their (already-proven) "command" technology. Great for small rugs on tile or on hardwood at the bottom of your stairs (for safety) or even just to make a medium throw rug stay put. For a large throw rug at least 10' long I felt the need to use 6 instead of 4. Thanks 3M! ============ June2021 Update: Sadly, it seems I need to downgrade my reading from a 4 to a 3. This is still a great concept but is seriously in need of improvement. I have tried these on both wooden floors and tile floors following all instructions, and I'm disappointed to say that the life of the product is far shorter than I can find acceptable. Typically these pads have only lasted from 4 weeks to 3 months at the absolute Max. The problem is not with the smart velcro like technology, but appears to be by far with the adhesive that sticks to the underside of any carpet. This is the weak Link in the product design, as this adhesive will wear off surprisingly quickly, rendering the product basically useless to do its job. Also as a caveat if you use it for a throw rug even a small one, and need to wash it, good luck. Because for us the adhesive wood degrade and fall off by the time we want to return it to its location and snap it's in. Again this adhesive issue has applied 4 3 carpets which were not even removed to be washed. It is as if the product cannot handle even medium wobble foot traffic in a non commercial space. Therefore I cannot agree that these are even worth their price and also really should be reduced MSRP by the manufacturer, at least until they can improve the product to increase its longevity and make it worth the price!

Great if you don't have a pet or a roomba
These were very easy to install and I was initially very happy. However, the first time my dog ran by the rug to chase a ball it completely came up. Same thing with the roomba-completely rolled up three sides. I think these are perfect if you live in a household without pets or roombas.

started out great - stuck to the floor and the rug. velcro was great - but after a few months - started coming undone and rug was moving everywhere. :(

These 3M rug anchors are an excellent solution to tripping and falling in your home.
There is nothing as aggravating as a throw rug. That you keep tripping over. 3M has produced the perfect answer. These rug anchors will permanently solve your problem.
