Great product for in between colors or shampooing

I love this product to put a little in my hair either nightly to keep healthy or a little in places in between shampoos to smooth down places and help with style and appearance

Doesn't work for me

I'd love to say a lot of positive things about this hair serum, because it is so expensive, but I just can't. Maybe this brand of hair products doesn't work for my hair type (fine and thin). Even the tiniest amount of this product makes my hair look greasy and heavy. I see other people have a different experience.

Serum???

As a Vine reviewer, I get to try many products; a bit of a product junkie I am. Many of those are "skin care" type items, so in the skin care world, when you say "serum" to me, the picture in my mind is a clear usually somewhat runny, yet amazingly moisturizing product. This is NOT that. Honestly, I don't know why they would describe it as a "serum". I'm going with "masque" (not mask, because this is fancy-schmancy). This is a white, on the thick side, cream type product. The directions tell us to work this through damp hair and leave in over night. I took an early evening shower, washed my hair with a nice but not this brand shampoo, did not use the other brand matching conditioner. I blotted my hair to a damp level of wetness. I used maybe a 1 1/2 pea size dollop of this and massaged it into my hair. I think it smells like gardenia; not sure; I liked it anyway. As my hair dried, this did what all "leave in" conditioners do with my hair and that is, it left it a little crunchy, as if I had clay or wax in my hair. A good toussle (is that how you spell that?) and my hair was soft and kind of thick feeling (it's a pretty full head of short hair anyway though) but I did sense a greater, sort of, "volume". The next day it felt pretty silky; not dull looking but also not overly shiny. At this point, even with short hair, I would say it did not offer a "control" factor, but it's not supposed to; the directions say (in the morning) "style as usual". It's a nice product; does it command $165.00? That's up to you; for me, no; boggles my mind, but your economy may afford you different product adventures and pleasures than mine does. Gratitude to have received as a Vine reviewer. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Overnight Serum That Makes My Fine, Dry Hair Come To Life▪️Will Last As Only Small Amount Needed

I get incredible results using this R+Co BLEU “Sleep Masque Night Repair Serum.” My hair is fine, lacks body and can get really dry. It damages easily and dries frizzy, unless blown out straight with various products and a round brush. Even then, I often have problems smoothing it or getting the ends to hold together or bend under a little to give it some shape and style. This Repair Serum makes my hair manageable and also revives it so it looks and feels so hydrated and healthy. I use it about 1x a week (or as needed) and get immediate benefits. This Repair Serum is just slightly bigger than a face cream. I only use a small amount that fills the included petite spoon. I work it through my clean, damp hair in the evening and loosely twist my hair up with a silk scrunchie for the night. The next day, my hair has a subtle, lingering scent that hasn’t triggered my allergy issues. My hair is damp when I wake. Whether I let it just air dry or end up blow drying my hair, my hair is so well hydrated and the texture is so nice that it doesn’t even seem like my hair. My hair dries soft and smooth and holds body rather than go flat even though this serum makes my hair feel kind of heavier like the strands seem thicker and hold together more. The serum doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy, and instead my hair gains volume. It looks and feels so smooth and healthy that I can just let it air dry and wear it that way. I do prefer it a bit more styled if I’m heading out for the day, but that’s so easy as I just spray my hair with a little R+Co BLEU Hypersonic Heat Styling Mist and take a curling iron to it for a few minutes. My hair holds the curl unusually well and my hair actually looks bouncy. It’s really a nice change for me. I can even go to a second day as it’s still smooth with some body left and not greasy. I just brush through my hair (which I never normally do as my hair would be shapeless after) and it still looks smooth and healthy with volume, body and good shape. I’ve also just skipped the curled looked and blown my hair out straight when I wake and my hair is still damp, and it’s super manageable and looks smooth, shiny and healthy without being flat. I have difficult hair but love the results and added styling options I get when using this serum. This is one of the best hair care products I’ve used for my fine, dry hair and one that I’ll buy when I eventually run out. Love it. 5 stars.

night repair serum

Easy to apply serum. Applies like a cream and isn't sticky or tacky. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and I still woke up with some frizz. It does really help dryness. My ends have been really dry and frizzy lately and one night with this really tamed my ends and made them softer. Ends both looked and felt better. Didn't heal them completely but made a huge improvement. The biggest con to this is the price. Its way over priced for what it does.

Use a tiny amount!

I learned the hard way you can completely use this wrong. I have long thick hair and I’m use to using at least a half dollar sized amount of product. I did that with this and it was a disaster. My hair the next day was gummy and sticky. It was so bad I had to wash my hair again. Totally my fault for not reading. So don’t do that I did! The next time I tried it I used the little scoop and the appropriate amount and had much better results. My hair was soft and silky the next morning. For the price thankfully less is more with this! I’m going to keep using it correctly for sure I really loved how my hair feels when I use this.
