Don't need the entire kit unless rotating the inputs up

This is very well built and made for the 1604, but the bottom plate is not necessary if you are leaving the inputs out the back of the board. The entire kit is made to rotate the input panel so it is facing up. However, I could not find just the rack ears for the 1604.

Does what it is supposed to do. Easy install - but I always read the instructions. No issues.

Ribbon cable too short

Not necessarily a fault of the rotopod adapter tray but more the ribbon cable on the mackie board that runs back the main fader. the cable is about a 1/4 inch too short and comes unplugged just as you get the rotopod into the upright position. I guess I'll have to research it more to see if you can get an extended cable.

Longer screws ARE included!

Longer screws ARE included! I really just got the kit for the rack ears. At this point, I'm not even using the RotoPod tray. Everything fits properly, but it's odd that the middle screw hole for the rack ears is so large so be useless, because it means that there are only 2 screws on each side holding this heavy mixer onto the rack ears (should be 3 a side) ... hopefully it's all good. Also, there were only 2 holes on each ear for the rack screws. In my case, I had to drill a couple extra holes on each side to securely attach the mixer to my rack. Your situation may not require that. Anyway, everything is mounted and overall, I'm happy.
