Durable - easy to clean - multi use

These are awesome. I have both these and the elk size. I can’t tell much difference. These have been used in multiple deer the past two seasons, and wife carried them on her elk hunt. These are extremely easy to clean. Mostly cleans up with water in the sink followed by a quick wash with icy clean and tide free or dead wind down, then a sanatizing wash with same detergents and extra rinse. I thought my son ruined two of the bags as he dragged them a quarter of a mile with hind quarters from his 250 lb trophy. The meat stayed clean. There were no holes in the bags. The bags only needed one extra sanatizing wash to clear grass stains and red dirt ground in from the torture test. I thought they would have been ruined, and intended my son to take his time and care, but you know how in experienced teens can be. These bags are like new! Money saved and cleaner meat than using disposable cheese cloth bags! I would recommend turning them inside out and washing them with oxi clean and a free detergent prior to first use just to clear out any dust from manufacturing process. I highly recommend these bags!!! Two sets come in handy for taking multiple deer. If you bone out the meat, two are enough for one deer with back straps and tenderloins in one bag, and the rest in another bag. I hope this helps! These are a great gift for any western hunters or those that use the gutless method!

Awesome bags at a great price

These are some of the nicest bags I have used. Time will tell if they hold up but they seem well made and the fabric is nicer than some $80 sets, being just as light and packable. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that they seem a little overkill in size. The deer quarter bags would easily hold a hind elk quarter and there are 4 of them, plus two smaller bags that could hold at least 20 lb of meat each. Luckily, they pack down so small it’s not really an inconvenience that they are oversized.

Durable and reuseable

Plenty big enough for elk. For deer I usually only bring 2 or 3. I have used them 4 times now and they hold up well to abuse in the field and bleaching at home. Drawstrings long enough to hang without extra cordage and strong enough to lift by (but I still try not to push my luck). Not cotton so they dry quick in your pack and don't hold moisture in a soggy mess, but breathable enough to do the job without getting clammy inside.

Tough

Boned out a spike elk in these bags. They are just as good a the caribou ones. My only reason for not giving 5 stars, they do not have the small loop like the caribou bags to hang them up with meat in them. Other then that great deal!

I love them. This will be my second purchase of the game bags (smaller size for smaller species) for what you get it quality for the price you just can’t be disappointed!!!

Perfect size for elk

Perfect size for elk. We got a cow and had plenty of room to spare. Sizes were overkill for a deer/antelope. Very sturdy and easy to hang. Put a hole in one with a carabiner and it’s didnt rip open.

These game bags work great. The "deer/antelope" bags are the same dimensions and weight as the Caribou Gear Wapiti elk bags that cost twice as much. I put a very mature 6x6 bull elk into these bags using the gutless method and they worked perfectly. They would also work great for deer as their title implies. Bags were lightweight and durable and they cleaned up nicely. I anticipate using them for many years and have told all my elk hunting friends to get a set and stop carrying heavy bags with them or buying new cheap bags every year. These are perfect.
