Just as described and an excellent value!

These Celtic dice are really nice to look at (just as shown in the product image), almost so much you don't want to use them. The fonts and designs stand out very nicely on the solid white giving a great view of your roll. Now even though these dice are made by Q-Workshop, they are not weighted the same as the more traditional dice. This does not affect their roll but it is noticeable if you care about this sort of thing. Highly recommend to get them!

Good-Looking Poly Dice with a Pair of Caveats

I got this set of dice to act as my new "DM dice" for an upcoming campaign. I'm pleased with the design, but must note that it takes a moment to interpret the die roll (it's pretty intricate design work) before you can report (and move on to the next roll if needed) . . . So essentially they lose half a star for price (which is two to three times as expensive as a standard decent set of poly dice) and a half a star for legibility. 4 out of 5 isn't bad at all, and I would recommend these to anyone not afraid to shell out a bit of extra cash for a truly interesting set of dice, and who doesn't mind a moment's pause as they read the results.

the numbers are very easy to see. I have read that the other colored dice from the same company are hard to read so i went with these dice to play it safe and I half to say they are very nice. When i was frist looking at them online I thought they looked ok but the picture does not do the dice justice on how they really look they are very detailed and have a nice feel in your hands. only thing that is confusing is the frist 5 minutes of finding the dot next to the 6 and 9 on some of the dice after u have figured out witch on is witch the dice are very easy to read.

Difficult to read.

Fun, but they seem to get little use because they are difficult to read. As a GM I try to keep gamepace fast and furious. I abhor rules wonks who need to spend fifteen minutes in the books on EVERY turn. For this same reason, maintaining a swift game, I often find myself gravitating to my other dice sets simply because they are quick and easy to read. Perhaps I am just going blind in my old age, but damn the faces of some of these dice are just too busy for this old guy's eyes. Other than that, they bounce nicely, and provided a casual "wow, those are cool" moment for the players in the game for an entire session. Now, however, the thrill is gone.

I ordered these for d&d, after weeks of looking through many designs. My only concern was that they looked a bit difficult to read in the image, but I have no problems reading them. The designs are intricate, but fairly clear. I'd definitely recommend to others, and will probably be buying other sets in the future. I've had pretty good throws with all of the dice and they seem fairly evenly weighted. So. I pretty much love them. Intensely satisfied.

Good but not what was expected

I purchased this set of dice for my brother as a birthday gift. While the dice received were of high quality, they do not look like the dice in the product picture. I have attached a picture of the received dice. The only thing that keeps this dice set from being a 4- or 5-star set is the incorrect product image.

Great and Unique Product!

At first these dice were a little hard to read but I caught on quickly. They are unique and I just love the celtic disign. These dice are highly recomended.

Not bad at all. very pretty designs . just a little light

The Detailing on the Dice is very nice and looks great. However with this comes the the thing of whether you can read the numbers with ease. itss now as easy to quickly glance at it with these. However that does not faulter the quality. The Dice do feel however rather lighter than i'd have personally liked as it rolls a long distance because of this. But that can be solved.

Balanced, awesome, and really good looking. Love them. Well refined and super awesome. The white to black is magnificent. Numbers a tad hard to read. Recommend 100%. Worth the price.
